#1 John Lennon
John Lennon, the famous English singer and founder of "Beatles" was murdered on 8 December 1980 while returning to his New York apartment by Mark David Chapman. Chapman shot him six times. When Lennon was taken to ‘Roosevelt Hospital' he was pronounced as dead.
#2 Philip Seymour Hoffman
The drug addiction habit cost him with his life. He was found dead in his Manhattan's apartment. A heroin and prescribed medication was found from his apartment by police along with syringe in his arm. He died on 2 February 2014.
#3 Notorious B.I.G.
Christopher George Latore Wallace also known as "Notorious B.I.G." was an American rapper who was killed on 9 March 1997 by un-known shooter in L.A. After his death's 16 days, his album "Life After Death" was released which hit No. 1 spot in US charts.
#4 Amy Winehouse
The 23 July 2011 brought saddest day to Amy Winehouse fans, as she passed away due to alcohol poisoning. At the time of her death, 416 mg per 100 ml blood alcohol content was found in her. It was five times more than of legal driving limit.
#5 Johnny Cash
The 20th Century singer, Johnny Cash, died on 12 September 2003. He died from diabetes complications at age of 71. His health worsened because of his wife, June Carter, death and made him actually heart-sick. He was buried next to his wife in Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Tennessee.
#6 Elvis Presley
The excessive abuse of drug caused "The King of Rock and Roll" with his life and at the age of 42. He passed away on 16 August 1977. Still he is the most celebrated singer of all time.
#7 Bob Marley
On 11 May 1981, the famous Jamaican singer, Bob Marley, left his fans forever. Melanoma spread in his brain and lungs and killed him. He passed away at the age of 36.
#8 Freddie Mercury
Freddie Mercury, the rock band member of "Queen" died on 24 November 1991 from AIDS. Though he tried to kept rumors related to health secret but on 23 November 1991 he released the statement related to his illness and passed away the next day.
#9 Heath Ledger
The Australian actor passed away on 22 January 2008 due to abuse of prescribed medication in his Manhattan apartment. He died shortly after when he received massive praise for his work in "The Dark Knight", in which he played unforgettable character of "Joker".
#10 Jim Morrison
The lead vocalist of band "The Doors" died on 3 July 1971. The overdose of heroin took his live and he passed away at the age of 27.
#11 Jimi Hendrix
It was unclear how he actually died but according to coroner, he died because of aspirated his own vomit which was intoxicated with barbiturates and died from asphyxia.
#12 John Candy
The heart attack while sleeping caused John Candy's death. He was filming his movie, Wagon East!, in Durango, Mexico on 4 March 1994. At the age of 43 he passed away.
#13 Kurt Cobain
On 1 March 1994, Cobain was diagnosed with bronchitis and severe laryngitis. After that many times he tried to attempt suicide. But on 8 April 1994, his dead body was found from his Lake Washington Blvd home. According to coroner, he was already passed away on 5 April.
#14 Tupac
Tupac Shakur went to see Mike Tyson vs. Bruce Sheldon in Las Vegas, Nevada on 7 September 1996. There he was shot multiple times at Koval Lane and Flamingo Road intersection. He was quickly sent to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and passed away six days later.
#15 Marilyn Monroe
One of the most beautiful ladies, Marilyn Monroe, died on 5 August 1962 at the age of 36. She died from overdose of barbiturates, though her death was classified as probable suicide.
#16 Mark Twain
Mark Twain original name, Samuel Langhorne Clemens, was an American humorist and author. Twain died on 21 April 1910 after one day when comet, Halley, approached closest to Earth like he predicted.
#17 Richard Pryor
Heart attack claimed Richard Pryor's life. The comedian and actor died on 10 December 2005 at a local hospital.
#18 Paul Walker
The famous "Fast and Furious" actor died on car accident on 30 November 2013 along his friend, Roger Rodas. The car they were travelling in was going between 80 miles per hour.
#19 Princess Diana
Princess of Wales died on 31 August 1997 in car crash incident at Paris's Pont de l'Alma road. Dodi Fayed also died along her.
#20 Steve Jobs
Apple's CEO died on 5 October 2011 from relapse of his previously treated disease islet-cell neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer which caused him difficulty in breathing.
#21 Ray Charles
Acute liver disease caused Ray Charles to lose his life. He passed away at the age of 73 on 10 June 2004.
#22 Ryan Dunn
Drinking while driving caused Ryan Dunn and his friend, Zachery Hartwell, with their lives on 20 June 2011. Before accident, he posted his picture on Twitter which showed him and his friend, Zachery Hartwell, drinking at West Chester Bar.
