Daughter, Mother And Grandmother Get Married On The Same Day, In The Same Dress
3 Generations In A Picture.. Look Closely At The Bride's Wedding Dress!
#1
When Sarah became engaged to her soon-to-be husband, Jonathan, he would often joke that Sarah was so much like her mom and granny. She comes from a close-knit, proud family that adored their traditions and loves to keep them going. That's why no one was surprised, although all were honored, that Sarah decided to get married on the exact same date her grandmother, and then years later, her mother had wed on.

Sarah's mom mentioned that she had her grandmother's old wedding dress, a dress that she too had worn on her wedding day. There was no obligation for her to wear it, but Sarah wanted to at least try it on to see how it fit.

"She brought it down for me to look at, with no obligation to wear it if I didn't want to," Sarah says. "As soon as I put it on and held the veil onto the back of my head, I knew that I wouldn't be trying on any other dresses. It fit perfectly, and Mum looked so happy when she saw me in it. I was sure the dress would bring me a lifelong and happy marriage, like my grandmother and my mother before me."
In an instant, a new tradition was made. Sarah would wear the same dress her mother and grandmother wore and get married on the same date. See the wonderful photos of three generations bound by love below!
