Meat Loaf, whose given name is Marvin Lee Aday, came across hard times in the mid 1980's. He ended up filing for bankruptcy to solve his troubles. This occurred around the same time that a former songwriting partner filed a lawsuit against him.

Wayne Newton managed to build up over $20 million in debt. He filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992.
