30 Facts No 30 Year Old Wants To Hear

We are all stuck in a mental age. And that age is usually two to seven years lesser than our current age. I’m stuck at age 23 despite me being 25 years old. I mean, how the hell did this happen! I refuse to accept this trickery of age into adulthood. And imagine me at 30!
It’s just unimaginable. Just like how you 30-year old’s will feel after going through this list of things that will make you accept your real age:
1. The oldest dog on record, Bluey, reached 29 years old. This means every dog that was alive when you were born is no longer with us. ðŸ™
You're also older than the oldest recorded sheep, lion, and tiger. Domestic cats, on the other hand, have been known to live as long as 38! So there might be a handful of cats out there that were around long before you.
2. The entire Back to the Future trilogy now takes place in the past.
3. You are SIX years older than Monica and Rachel were meant to be at the start of Friends.
4. We are now as close to the year 2038 as we are to the year Friends hit our screens.
5. People who were born in the months after the millennium – when you were 14 – are now studying for their A-levels.
Which means they know nothing of the not-quite-world-ending Millennium Bug Y2K.
6. In September of this year, any kids that started secondary school were born AFTER the invention of Facebook.
Whereas you were 18 when it launched, but probably closer to 20 by the time you actually signed up.
7. Same goes for YouTube, which was registered in early 2005.
8. You were the very last children IN HISTORY to start school before the invention of the World Wide Web.
If you were born before August 31, 1986, you'd have started school in September 1990. Just months before the World Wide Web went live in December 1990. This was also the same month as Home Alone was released, which leads us perfectly into our next fact
9. At 36, Macaulay Culkin is now the same age as Catherine O’Hara – who played his mum – was at the time Home Alone was released.
10. The actors who played Xander and Willow are as old (or older in Xander’s case) as Anthony Head was when he first played Giles.
Head was 42, though had turned 43 by the time the show aired. Alyson Hannigan is now 42, while Nicholas Brendan is 45!
11. The actors who played Lex and Tim in Jurassic Park are now much older than Laura Dern – who played Ellie Sattler – was when the film was released.
12. Which makes you four years older than one of America’s foremost paleobotanists.
13. It’s been a whole decade since new rave came and went.
14. And 12 years since freshers’ week.
15. There are people who were born AFTER The Crystal Maze aired its final episode who are old enough to have graduated from college.
16. Ant and Dec have been famous for as long as Taylor Swift has been alive.
They first joined Byker Grove back in 1989! Also, they're now just three years younger than Geoff and his massive sideburns were when the show began.
17. Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner was born the year the Spice Girls released “Wannabe”.
18. Stranger Things is set in 1983 – just three years before you were born – and yet 1983 is as close to the present day as it is to 1950!
19. People who were born when The Office started in 2001 are now the same age as you were when it first came out.
20. When England got to the semi-finals of Euro ‘96, current England player Marcus Rashford hadn’t even been born yet. You were 10.
This also mean he wasn't alive the last time England won a penalty shootout.
21. Marissa has been dead for 10 years.
22. It’s been 17 years since anyone entered the Fun House.
23. And you haven’t had one of these since you were 12.
24. The poster boy for harmless teenage rebellion is nearly 50, and also older than Uncle Phil was.
25. Even the youngest Hanson brother is older than you.
26. You were born closer to the moon landing than to the invention of the Nintendo Wii.
27. And closer to JFK’s (and even Dwight D. Eisenhower’s) presidency than Donald Trumps.
