You will need:

1 ripe banana

2-3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1/4 cup tablespoons plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon pure honey

plastic conditioning cap

How to Use: Mix banana and EVOO in a blender until very smooth, then add remaining ingredients and mix well until there are no lumps. Pour mixture through a strainer to remove any extra lumps or banana pulp before applying to your hair. Apply to wet hair, cover with plastic conditioning cap and leave on for a minimum of 30 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

Aside from avocados being extremely delicious, they are also great for treating dry and brittle hair, as they are rich in vitamins, oleic acid and other essential fatty acids. Honey is a natural humectant, and by adding this with naturally moisturizing oils, it will help the hair to retain moisture, strengthen the hair follicle, and enhance the overall texture of the hair.

You will need:

1 avocado, mashed well

2 tablespoons pure or organic honey

1 tablespoon avocado oil (or extra-virgin olive oil)

plastic conditioning cap

How to Use: Be sure that your avocado is mashed very well. Add the avocado and the remaining ingredients to a blender, mixing until smooth. Apply to wet hair, cover with plastic conditioning cap and leave on for one hour. Rinse thoroughly and follow up with a light conditioner if needed.

1 tablespoon olive oil (or any penetrating oil)

2-3 drops peppermint oil or tea tree oil

How to Use: In a glass bowl, whip all ingredients and stir until evenly smooth. Apply to wet or damp hair, cover with plastic conditioning cap and leave on for a minimum of one hour. Rinse thoroughly.
