#1 "The Donald"

Donald Trump actually got his nickname from ex-wife Ivana Trump. Spy magazine featured a story on Ivana in which she shared her nickname for her husband. She says it came from the fact that English is her fourth language and placing "the" in front of his name just seemed natural.

The nickname became widely popular and even "The Donald" himself has embraced it.

#2 Family

Trump has been married 3 times and has 5 children. Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric are all 3 from his first wife, Ivana. After divorcing Ivana, Trump married actress Marla Maples who gave birth to his 4th child, Tiffany. His youngest child, Barron Trump is the son of current wife, Melania. In addition, Donald Trump currently has 8 grandchildren. What a big family!

#3 Political Affiliation

Early on, Donald Trump identified as a republican with his support of Ronald Reagan. However, by the late 90's Donald Trump had switched his affiliation to that of the reform party. That didn't last long and as of 2001, Trump Identified as a democrat. As of 2009, he has switched back to his republican affiliation with a brief switch to "independent".

Needless to say, Donald Trump has been quite the wishy-washy when it comes to sticking with a political party.

Donald Trump is a WWE fan and friend of owner Vince McMahon. As such, he has been on many WWE Shows and has even hosted a few. Perhaps his most famous moment on the WWE Network was in the "battle of the billionaires" in which he was represented in a fight by Bobby Lashley and Vince McMahon was represented by Umaga. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the referee. The losing billionaire would have his head shaved. Of course Donald Trump won and shaved Vince McMahon's head on live tv.

During the presidential debates of 2016, sexual allegations were brought up about Donald Trump. Tapes were played in which he describes taking advantage of women. The tapes were later described by trump as "locker room talk" and completely harmless. The entire argument is highly controversial.

While Donald Trump has never filed for bankruptcy himself, many of his enterprises have gone through bankruptcy. His hotels and casinos have been through six different bankruptcies.
