Cabbage Kids - I bet you still own one...

How many had mothers and grandmothers waiting in line for hours at stores, diving into bins and fighting with other ladies just to bring home a cabbage patch baby doll that came with unique names and even Adoption Papers to mail in... How cool invention was this??

Jelly Shoes

Who remembers these cool footwear that made your feet sweat and slimy, and the plastic would crack and split and poke your feet, but you were soooo cool with all your different colors to choose from. :)

Laser Disc Beta Player

This was a very short lived contraption that came out around the same time the Video Cassette Player was introduced. The laser beta player you used a massive disc that was twice the size of a record to play your all time favorite 80's movie, like Dirty Dancing or ET :)

Merlin

Who remembers Merlin? It was the smartest and funnest hand held game in the 80's. You were considered the 'cool kid' if you owned one of these awesome games.

Nintendo Game Console

Did you ever wonder where Mario Bros was originally invented from? Did you ever Duck hunt with the game that came with this game console. This was the next invention to take off after the Atari. This was the first cartoon animations video game that showed more movement and life like games vs. the Atari beta version games.

Sega Game Console

This was a very popular game that competed with the Atari. Those who didn't have Atari played the Sega. Sega had comparable or the same types of games as Atari but at a lower scale cost and game set up.

SIMON

The color and sound game!! If you could get over 100 right following the colors and sounds in correct order you were a GENIUS. This game is still popular today... You could sit and play this challenging your friends for hours and was a great way to sharpen your memory!

Video Cassette Player (VCR)

This was the BEST and Longest running movie play invented in all it's time. I can bet that most all who are 20 years and old have watched a VCR and probably still own some VCR tapes some where saved with "childhood" videos hoping they can some day watch again.

SONY Walkman

If you owned a Walkman - you were the 'bomb' - like totally awesome dude!!! You could put your favorite cassette tape in one of these and listen for hours and hours with the headphones that looked like buttons... How amazing it was? and if you were extra rich, you could get one that played Am/Fm radio too!!
