Heard claims that Depp gave his daughter Lily-Rose marijuana as a teenager while testifying in a defamation case in Virginia.

Since the defamation trial began a few weeks ago, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have made several headlines with their respective testimony. The Aquaman actress took the stand this week, and several clips have already gone viral. Heard recently claimed that her ex-husband offered his 14-year-old daughter Lily-Rose weed when she was 14.

Heard told the court on May 5 that during their relationship, she felt 'protective' of Depp's children.

Several disputes and disagreements were mentioned during the trial. In this case, the couple had a falling out over Lily-Rose Depp, aged 22.

Lily-Rose, aged 22, is Depp's daughter with Vanessa Paradis, a 49-year-old French model, and actress.

As per the Mailonline, Heard said: "This argument happened because I didn't agree that this gentleman - a famous musician over the age of 18 - spent the night at the house and I felt protective over Lily-Rose and concerned.

"Naturally, they were not my children, it's not my place and I understand it, I know it's a sensitive subject so I understand why Johnny got so upset with me."

According to the Daily Mail, the teen had a crush on the musician, who was well over the age of 18.

She added that she continued to feel protective of Lily-Rose, especially when he reportedly introduced her to weed when she was a teenager.

"The nature of our lives with the travel and the work meant he was there and then he wasn't. She was so young, I just felt protective."

The Rum Diary star also expressed her displeasure with the actor allegedly exposing his daughter to marijuana. "But that and the introduction of the weed with his daughter, she was so young, I felt protective," she added. "It's not my place and I made him really angry by weighing in on that."

Depp rejects Heard's accusations that he introduced marijuana to his little daughter. In reality, during a libel trial against the UK publication The Sun in 2020, the Fantastic Beasts star said that he "never encouraged" his daughter to use the drug.

He said: "My daughter was 13 years old and, as we all know, at 11, 12, 13 years old, when you go to high school parties you are approached by people who will want to give you drink because they're drinking."

He recalled telling Lily-Rose: "Listen, sweetheart, if you are at a party and someone hands you the joint, take the joint from that person and pass it to the next person… don't experiment with drugs with people you don't know."

"Please do me the honor of coming to me when you are ready when you really feel you are ready," Depp continued. "Because I don't want your first experience in this world to be with people you don't know, taking things you don't know that I can't trust, so it's a safety issue."

She was filming Adderall Diaries with James Franco at the time, whom Heard said her ex-husband "despised." She returned to their hotel room after an incident that reportedly resulted in Depp slapping her in front of spectators and subsequently took Lily-Rose to dinner.

"Johnny was sick after having passed out on the plane, so I took her to dinner, we went to Benihana. I put on my smile, took her out, tried to make her feel loved and celebrated for her birthday."

Depp allegedly addressed the incident by stating that he just drank a glass of champagne on the plane and passed out due to the medicine he was on at the time.

The actor previously stated that his daughter did not attend his wedding to his ex-wife because "she and Ms. Heard were not on especially good terms, for several reasons."

This is just one example of Amber Heard's shocking testimony over the last two days. She also revealed several claimed instances in which she believes Johnny Depp assaulted her. In another bizarre incident, Heard claims Depp allegedly performed a cavity search on her while looking for narcotics. And that's without even considering the things he recounted about her.

Because video from Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's trial is available on the internet and television, the conversation about the drama is unlikely to shut off anytime soon. People have expressed their opinions online and in Starbucks tip jars. We'll simply have to wait and see how things turn out.
