It's the evilest place ever when it comes to the waters of our planet, especially because of the staggering number of ships and airplanes that disappear once they are in the Bermuda Triangle. It's been 70 years since the mystery first popped up, but even today it has yet to be solved completely.
Are Aliens Visiting the Bermuda Triangle? The Mystery Is Creepy
#1 The Triangle of the Devil?
The Bermuda triangle, lso known as the Devil's triangle is located in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean.
#2 The Infamous Flight 19
Way back on December 5 in 1945, a total of five TBM bombers went out from the Fort Lauderdale and toward the Bermuda Triangle. Somehow, none of the 14 men were ever found again, and even the planes have yet to be found.
#3 Finding Flight 19
To hopefully discover the Flight 19 crew and the planes, a PGM Mariner was ordered to go to the Bermuda Triangle, but even that too sadly disappeared with no trace whatsoever. People think that it exploded, which would have led to the deaths of 13 people.
#4 More Disappearances
Both ships and planes have been missing since the 1945 incident. Moreover, there was already an incident way before the Flight 19 mystery. In 1918, a ship called the USS Cyclops that carried 309 people suddenly disappeared and led to the US Navy's worst loss in a single event ever.
#5 Are There Aliens?
Yes, these are just speculations, but what if aliens love going there and wreaking havoc? Another paranormal explanation is that the sunken city of Atlantis left some machines that disrupt the planes and ships.
#6 Even Until Today
The mystery continues today. On September 20 this year, a ship that contained merchant mariners from the United States went missing for a month at the Bermuda Triangle as hurricane Joaquin hit them. The cargo ship was soon discovered below the surface, a staggering 15,000 feet below. Thankfully or not, a 2013 study noted that the Bermuda Triangle isn't even actually one of the most dangerous waters in the world. Still, the popularity remains thanks to pop culture.
