In 2013, Missy Dunaway left her home in Maryland, USA to study art in Turkey. The next two-years turned into a whirlwind of good times, new friends, and life-changing experiences.

Dunaway has always kept a written diary, but her trip of a lifetime sparked something new in her. Instead of relying on the written word to document her travels, Dunaway decided to paint her experiences in a Moleskine notebook.

The artist writes, "I used to keep a written diary, but began recording my days by painting in a Moleskine sketchbook with acrylic ink. My medium is portable, so I was able to pack up my art supplies and continue travelling."
