In this world of male-dominated society, it does not matter how powerful you are or how famous you are, as being a woman is enough for you to face sexual harassment in your life.

Nowadays, as the sexual assault allegations against the Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has created havoc in the entertainment industry, more and more female celebrities are coming forward and raising their voice against the sexual harassments and the trauma they had to face following the abuse. This unfortunate and yet an ugly truth has started a trend on the social media where women from all over the world are coming forward and sharing their painful experience of sexual harassment with a #metoo.

Following the allegations, a lot of celebrities have condemned Weinstein for his highly inappropriate behaviour and among these is Ben Affleck who bashed Weinstein on Twitter, posting, "I am saddened and angry that a man who I worked with used his position of power to intimidate, sexually harass and manipulate many women over decades. This is completely unacceptable."

Unfortunately for Affleck, he forgot that a few years back he groped co-star Hilarie Burton in 2003 when she was a host on MTV’s “Total Request Live.” On his post on social media condemning Weinstein against his sick and inappropriate behaviour, Affleck was called out by actress Rose McGowan with an angry response, followed by other users reminding that "Affleck groped Lily Burton's breasts on TRL once, but it seems like everyone has forgotten," to which Burton replied that, she has not forgotten and that she was a kid at that time and had to laugh off in that situation, just so she wouldn't cry.

This was followed by a string of responses in which fans from all over the world criticised Affleck for schooling Weinstein when he himself was at fault and is a part of the problem.

The incident was captured on the video as part of MTV's behind-the-scenes special TRL Uncensored, in which Burton comments on the groping, saying, "He wraps his arm around me and comes over and tweaks my left boob," Burton says in the video. "I'm just like, 'What are you doing?'"

Although it is not the first time for the Affleck family for being blamed for sexual harassment as Affleck's brother Casey has been accused of sexual harassment in past by two women but to no vain.

Following the bashing on inappropriate groping in 2003, Affleck later apologized on Twitter for his behaviour and Tweeted, "I acted inappropriately toward Ms Burton and I sincerely apologize."

The important question which arises here is that surrounding the Weinstein sexual harassment controversy, how many more real and ugly faces of the other industry players will be seen by the world for the first time who just like Weinstein prey on women behind the cameras and portray themselves as gentlemen on the camera.
