We all have gym stints that have gone wrong once in our life. But then they are nothing major. However, this famous bodybuilder had to pay a hefty price for trying to lift a woman in a gym stint that went terribly wrong. The amusing part of this incident is the bodybuilder himself sees a funny side to it and in fact, captioned the video: "How it feels when you drop your phone on your face."
Bodybuilder Gets 10 Face Stitches After Gym Stunt Goes Terribly Wrong
A bodybuilder said he had to have ten stitches on his face after a gym stunt went very badly wrong. Check it out here:
Bradley Martyn says he had to go to the emergency and get 10 face stitches after a gym stunt went terribly wrong.
Apparently the bodybuilder is known for his bizarre stints and extreme lifts and in fact, is quite popular on his Instagram and YouTube channels. From lifting huge weights to jumping on trucks and lifting women above his head, the beast has done it all.

Writing on Instagram, the big lad said: "Posting in 5 mins how i destroyed my face, it's been 12 years since I been filming stupid lifting videos.
"I finally got got."
And oh boy, the got he got most certainly did a number on him.
In the video of the stunt gone wrong, Bradley can be seen holding a weight plate on his chest - which in itself may be quite heavy for many of us.
But then a whole woman stands on top of the weight plate, with Bradley then bench pressing the weight plate - and her - up into the air.

It looked like it was mission accomplished, but as he lowered the weight plate back down the woman seemed to lose her footing and slip off it, giving Bradley a big old boot to the mush. The weight plate may even have clobbered him too.
Captioning the post - which has been viewed 3.7 million times - the bodybuilder wrote: "How it feels when you drop your phone on your face."
Commenting on the video, one viewer wrote: "This is why I whisper nice things to my plateweights everyday!… you never know when one is just going to flip on you."

Another said: "Darwin Award Finalist. Glad ur ok dude!"
A third added: "Thats what you get for turning the gym into a circus."
Wading into the comments section, Bradley himself then wrote: "10 stitches lol."
At least, the guy sees a funny side to the disastrous incident.
In an Instagram story, he thanked staff at West Hills ER for stitching his face back together and added that the woman and his teeth were unharmed too, which is a bonus.
No doubt the man will think twice next time he tries to lift women above his head.
