Boston police officer, with a badge on his chest and a glint of mischief in his eye, decides to take a little trip down memory lane at a local playground.
But instead of being all fun and games, he ends up hilariously injuring himself on a children's slide!
It turns out that playgrounds designed for kids aren't the best fit for our brave officers.
Get ready to giggle! A brave Boston policeman took a wild ride down a shiny new slide at City Hall Plaza park, and the whole hilarious adventure went viral on social media!
He zoomed backward at lightning speed, only to be flung off the slide with a comical bounce on the ground.
The officer was injured but “is fine,” Boston Police said.

Thankfully, the officer wasn't seriously hurt, but this escapade will surely be memorable.
Surprisingly, he decided not to charge the city for the mishap and used his personal insurance to patch himself up.
And don't worry, he wasn't goofing off during work hours, so no disciplinary action is needed.
Reflecting on the park's recently upgraded space, mayor of Boston Michelle Wu said:
"We were just there over the weekend for the Puerto Rican festival. Every inch of City Hall Plaza, newly renovated, was in use.
"It was amazing to see so many kids all over the water features at that playground."
However, the mayor certainly wasn't expecting the playground to get christened by a police officer injuring himself on the slide.
Mayor Wu added: "I don't know what the circumstances were or what happened. But, I will definitely check in and make sure the officer is ok.
"If it looks like that there needs to more signage that this is for children or something, we can do that too."
The viral video has been viewed millions of times across social media platforms.

As the debate over the necessity of more playground signage rages on, social media has become a hotbed of reactions to the hilarious clip.
People from all corners of the internet have flooded in to share their thoughts on the brave policeman's unexpected adventure down the children's slide.
Laughter, concern, and playful banter fill the virtual space as netizens can't get enough of the comical mishap.
While safety remains a priority, the viral video has brought a touch of amusement to the ongoing discussion.
One user joked: "He’s currently pressing charges against the slide. He may have to take this to civil court."
"Any suit he files would be [play] groundless," another added.
The third resolved: "We'll let it slide."
“Why’d he slide out like an ice cube from a refrigerator LMFAO,” another person commented.
“You gotta quit the force now. You’re on the internet forever coming down a slide like a f–king can of Diet Coke out of a vender machine? How do you set foot in the precinct?” another joked.
A Boston Police spokesperson told The Boston Globe that the department is aware of the video. The officer suffered minor injuries, he confirmed.
“He was hurt and used his own personal medical insurance to be treated,” Sergeant Detective John Boyle said. “He lost no time and has returned to work.”
When asked if the incident is being investigated, Boyle said, “I don’t believe so.”
The City Hall Plaza's colossal slide, possibly the city's longest, took center stage when it was revealed as part of a remarkable $95 million renovation in November.
The officer lost his handcuffs during the brutal descent.

Since then, it has become a big hit with the city's children, drawing in hordes of excited youngsters.
However, despite its allure, signs at the playground make it clear that the slide is "not intended for adult use" and should be enjoyed solely by children aged 5 to 12.
