#1 EX-ROCK chick Ruth has lived to regret emblazoning a huge tattoo to cover up former flame’s name across her chest and is going to extraordinary lengths to remove it before her big day.
#2 The 26-year-old from Kent is desperate to head up the aisle in a strapless gown to wed the Matthew, the father of her 11-month-old son.

#3 The fomer rock chick wants to keep her past from some of her wedding guests
The mum-of-one explained she didn't want to be reminded of her rock ‘n' roll past on her big day saying: "I used to have bright hair and clothes that show off my tattoo because I was in that crowd, it was the look I liked, I felt that was me at the time."
#4 Ruth now lives an idyllic life in the Kent countryside
Ruth says the tat doesn't fit in with her current image and can't bear the thought of revealing her inking to some her oblivious wedding guests.
#5 The artwork originally bore the name of her ex-boyfriend but she had it covered following their split with swallow, rose, locket and crow.
Her soon-to-be hubby would also like to see the back of the elaborate inking as it is a constant reminder of a former lover.
#6 The process is usually done to conceal scarring
Ruth is undergoing incision treatment involving cutting out some of her skin and then stretching the rest out before stitching it back together.
The expensive treatment is usually done to remove scars but has ironically left Ruth with one snaking through middle of the design.
#7 Unfortunately the tattoo is still very visible following the gory procedure
Describing the procedure she said: "It was really horrible. I would hate anyone else to put themselves through that."
But the bride to be has been left disappointed that the design is still so large, forcing her to find an alternative to her dream dress.
