#1 Six-Month-Old Was Always Sleepy After Daycare

Leslee Meade is mom to a cute baby boy, whom she enrolled in a children's daycare. She told reporters that whenever she'd bring her son home from daycare, he was always sleepy. Eventually, her maternal intuition kicked in and she realized something frightening was happening!

#2 Sue’s Day Care in Durant, Oklahoma

Meade immediately contacted the police and Sue's Day Care is now being investigated for drugging children with Benadryl before naps. Additionally, a former daycare employee contacted the Department of Human Services to inform them of the same allegations. Meanwhile, other employees have also since come forward.

#3 Benadryl Medication & Children Usage?

Warnings on the back of a Benadryl bottle states it causes a child to be sleepy, but it's NOT to be given to children in the way Sue's Day Care was practicing. The medication is a children's antihistamine and the drug specifically "warns it should not be administered to infants except under a doctor's supervision, as it can cause small children to stop breathing."

#4 A Legal Case & Investigation

Authorities in the case are recommending that the county District Attorney file charges of child abuse against the daycare's ownerBeverly Sue Stair. Her daycare business has since been temporarily shut down, while the case is being investigated by the Department of Human Services.

#5 No Children Were Harmed...

Meade's baby boy, who was a victim of the daycare remains in good heath, but the mom is understandably upset. The mother told press that, "What [Beverly Sue Stair] was doing was messing with everybody's lives...Had something happened it would have changed everybody's lives forever."
