In April 2015, a dissatisfied customer in a Lake Charles, La., establishment asked for a refund for her less-than-stellar milkshake.

The woman behind the counter didn't take kindly to the request and began to lash out at the customer. The unnamed customer drew her phone and recorded the interaction. It is unknown whether anything notable happened prior to this point.

In the video, which can be viewed below, the employee makes a number of threats to the customer.

"OK, I just want a refund on my shake, that's it," the unnamed customer says at the start. The agitated employee quickly gets hostile and uses a number of curse words. "You cannot treat people like this, this is your job," the customer says.

Once the employee realizes she's being filmed, she comes out from behind the counter and gets in the customer's face.

"You wanna get slapped?" she asks before another employee intervenes.

According to TheBlaze, Burger King fired the employee and issued this statement regarding the viral video: "We are aware of the video posted on Facebook. Guest satisfaction and service are of the highest priority to everyone at BURGER KING restaurants. The franchisee that owns and operates this restaurant has terminated the employee involved and has reached out to the guest directly."
