A bus was seen bursting into flames, requiring the evacuation of everyone on board, which included adults, teens, and children, according to one passenger.
A bus carrying many passengers in the United Kingdom was seen on video exploding into flames in a terrifying explosion.
On Friday morning, a blazing fire and dense plumes of smoke billowed from a bus on Osier Drive, Annesley, in Nottingham.
The fire department has yet to comment on the event, but according to NottinghamshireLive, a witness claims to have seen numerous passengers, including children, safely evacuate the car.
Shania Armstrong, who was on the bus when the fire started, said: "The time was 8.03 am when the smoke started. It was 8:12 am when the flames started. Everyone who is on the bus is fine."
"There were three adults, two teens, and two toddlers."
A Nottinghamshire Fire Service spokesman told the Daily Star: "Today (Friday 9 December) at 8:06am, we were called to a large vehicle fire on Osier Drive, Annesley."
"Upon arrival, a single-decker diesel bus was well alight. Crews from Ashfield, Eastwood and Hucknall were in attendance, using two hose reel jets and four breathing apparatus to gain entry to the vehicle and extinguish the fire."
"The Environment Agency were in attendance, and we left the scene around 9:50am after handing the incident over to the bus company and the police."
A spokesperson for bus company trentbarton told NottinghamshireLive: "One of our threes buses unfortunately caught fire."
"A smell of smoke was reported, and our driver safely moved all the customers off the bus and away to a safe distance before the fire became established."
"The cause of the fire will be investigated and we apologize to the customers whose journeys were interrupted."
Another passenger told the regional newspaper: "Charlotte Tarr told Nottinghamshire Live: "It (the bus) started smoking so everyone was removed and moved away. No one was hurt due to the fast action of the driver."
"My son and another are being taken home by police."
Firefighters were observed battling the fire throughout the morning until the bus was reduced to an ashen shell.
