According to reports, she was allegedly driving at an unsafe speed when she struck a line of stopped vehicles. To make things worse, she was towing a vehicle, which made slowing down a bit trickier.

#3 Manslaughter Charges Could Be Forthcoming

One person, a 69-year-old woman, Kimberly Howe, died as a result of this accident. LA police and district attorneys are looking into charging Jenner with manslaughter charges over the incident. She was not charged at the time with any violations.

#4 Six Month Investigation On The Accident Is Coming To A Conclusion

Jenner alleges that she was driving at a safe speed, but conditions made the road unsafe. Detectives have completed their six-month investigation and are set to present evidence to the prosecution that could lead to a misdemeanor manslaughter charge against the "I Am Cait" star. A misdemeanor manslaughter charge usually carries a one-year county jail sentence.

Jenner was driving down Pacific Coast Highway on Feb. 7 at an unsafe speed when her Escalade hit another vehicle, causing a chain-reaction crash, authorities said. Attorneys charged that Jenner's violation of the vehicular manslaughter law ultimately led to a death.

#6 Caitlyn Jenner Apologized For Her Involvement But Says She Is Not Negligent

Jenner has apologized for the crash and called it a terrible tragedy.

But she does not admit to any criminal negligence. At the time of the accident she was tested for alcohol and drugs and was not positive for either.

Jenner is currently being sued by Howe's family and the driver of the Prius, but she has not been charged with any crimes stemming from the accident as of yet, but the investigation could give her that manslaughter charge. Experts say that it is unlikely that Jenner would actually serve jail time if convicted. Since there was no criminal intent, she would likely face probation instead of jail time. But ultimately, that is up to the prosecutor and a judge (if convicted).

The accident occurred months before Jenner's gender transition. She was formerly known as Bruce Jenner, the gold medalist in the men's decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics, stepfather of the Kardashian clan and star of the hit E! reality series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
