Is there anything worse than a liar? While we always assumed Hollywood was full of them, we never imagined this celebrity would do such a thing!
"MTV Cribs" was a television show that featured vignettes of celebrities giving tours of the homes they pay insane mortgages on, showcasing their lavish digs.
Some of these homes were absolutely amazing, so we guess we shouldn't be too surprised that a celebrity felt the need to lie about where they actually lived.
Back in the early 2000s, you hadn't made it in the entertainment industry until your house showed up on an episode of "MTV Cribs."
The program gave us a peek at the prime real estate rocked by stars like 50 Cent.
We even got to see a young Kim Kardashian's stripper pole.
Of course, "MTV Cribs" couldn't cover everything.
The show was short on the real hassles of home ownership, like securing a mortgage loan.
You never heard Robbie Williams say stuff like, "Yo, I got a sick home insurance policy!"
But the show wasn't just opaque on the subject of a mortgage.
In at least one case, the house depicted didn't even belong to the star.
Yep, we're talking about Jojo, the young pop star who is currently enjoying a major comeback.
"It was so ridiculous," Jojo told the "Huffington Post."
"The thing is, we didn't have a home at that point. My mom and I were living out of suitcases and we were mostly in hotels."
"So that was actually my uncle's house, on the Cape."
"So that was me lying on 'Cribs.'"
Before you rush to judgment, remember that Jojo was just a teenager at the time.
We doubt she was even old enough to get a home loan.
