Can You Spot The Smoker Between These Identical Twins?

#1 One Of These Twins Is A Smoker

We all know by now that smoking is bad for your health. We've all seen the public service announcements, the Surgeon General's Warnings, the packaging on cigarettes, and heard about it from our doctors. While smoking in general is down in the US, it is still the main cause of illnesses related to death. These photos of identical twins by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons is very compelling as to the differences smoking can make on the body.

So who smokes here? The twin on the right. Notice the dark circles around her eyes and the puffy lips. She has smoked for over 29 years while her sister has never smoked. They are both in their late 60's.

It's easy to spot in this case. The woman on the left has smoked 17 years less than her identical twin on the right. You can see the lines in her lips, lower lid bags and skin surrounding the chin. They are only 39 years old.

#3 The Smoker: The Twin On The Right

They may both love to dress in gingham, but only the one on the right likes cigarettes. Notice he differences in the lines surrounding the eyes and the mouth. Also, her cheeks are drawn downward instead of puffy.

#4 One Of These Twins Is A Heavy Smoker And Sun Lover

Years of puffing away and being outside in the direct sun has caused the sister on the right to age dramatically. Her skin has aged differently. Again, note the lines around the mouth. The spots are a combo of cigarettes and sun spots. She is most likely to get skin cancer. Their age: 44 years old.

These are the same twins, but they've switched sides. You can really see the difference in elasticity of the skin between them from this angle. Smoking reduces vitamin A in the body, which is why smoker's skin has a tendency to look less healthy. As you can plainly see, this twin is definitely a heavy smoke who lacks vitamin A. Years of heavy smoking has aged her 2 times more than her twin sister.

#6 The Smoker: The One On The Right

Both of these twin men have been smokers, but the one on the left side quit over 14 years ago. You can see the big difference in this photo, as his twin, who continues to smoke, is gaunt, and more wrinkled than the brother.

#7 Can You Guess Who Smokes Between These Young Twins

If you chose the girl on the left, you would be correct. Ding Ding Ding! These 26 year old girls show the dramatic effects of MENTHOL cigarettes, which are slightly worse than regular cigarettes due to the chemical compounds. The smoker has been a puffer of menthol's since she was 16. Her yellow teeth and wrinkled eyes show the results.

If you said the one on the left you are way off. The twin on the right has been a smoker for over 18 years, while the one on the left has only smoked for 6 months as a teenager. Again, it's easy to spot by the eye wrinkles, puffiness and dark shadows. The wrinkles forming around her mouth are a dead give away!

Both of these sister have smoked. The one on the right gave up her habit over 3 years ago, while the one on the right continues to smoke 1 full pack every day. The results show drastically. The wrinkled cheeks and eyes are a dead giveaway. They are at the ripe age of 64.
