Hospitalized

On Monday, November 21, Kanye was at his trainer's (Harley Pasternak) home, when he began to once again show erratic behavior. The LAPD was called around 1:20 p.m. to the residence. Once there, the decision was made to take West to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation. Due to his reluctance, he had to be restrained.

Haters

The worrying event didn't stop the internet from mocking Kanye, though, because that's what the internet often does - takes those at the top and revels in it when they fall. To quote the Green Goblin in the first Spider-Man movie:

"And they found you amusing for a while, the people of this city. But the one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying. In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually, they will hate you."

Fortunately, a whole lot of celebrities offered up their support and reacted to the singer's situation. Here are just of them who offered Kanye West support instead of mockery:

The actor had something to say about the people mocking West:

The comedian added this as a message to people:

Rose McGowan

The actress sent both good wishes to the star, as well as a subtle jab at his very public support for Donald Trump...maybe not the right time, Rose.

Andy Lassner

Executive producer on The Ellen Show, Andy Lassner, shared his thoughts about the situation:

Zack Stentz

Thor and X-Men writer Stentz didn't find the humor in it, either.

John Legend

A close friend of Kanye's, he spoke about the star's situation and early signs of his unstable mind during an appearance in CBS' This Morning. Here's what he said:

"We were with Kim [Kardashian] actually, you know, right before all of that. I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he's getting some rest and some time to figure things out."

Being a frequent collaborator with West, Legend's comments are reliable.

Kris Jenner

Before news broke about his hospitalization, his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, spoke about Kanye canceling his tour to Entertainment Tonight:

"I think he's exhausted. Just really tired. It's a grueling tour."

So far, members of the Kardashian clan have kept quiet, but a source claims Kim Kardashian is very worried about her husband.

Have some compassion.

Whether you're a fan of Kanye and his music or not, nobody deserves to suffer from mental illness, and every single person who does deserves all of our compassion and support.

History of bizarre behavior

People have been speculating on the entertainer's health for quite some time, including after a somewhat bizarre appearance at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.

Hopefully, he's receiving the help he needs and returns shortly to his career.

What do you think of Kanye's hospitalization? Will we see him working again soon?
