They might look like they are very sweet and approachable, but these celebs are total divas and monsters, and they absolutely refuse to work with one another. Some of the reasons are very silly but they have even blasted one another on social media over it.
#1 Bette Davis and Joan Crawford
One of the biggest feuds between costars in movie history dates way back to the early 1960s when the top rated leading ladies of the day had a spat over who was better in their roles. That didn't stop the studio from making them work together, however. The on-set feuding between these two silver screen divas was the stuff of legend. While filming Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? the co-stars both called the director nightly to give him an earful about the other. It got so bad that Davis referred to Crawford as "the phony c**t." Crawford retaliated by wearing lead weights to make Davis's job impossible during the scene when she has to drag Crawford out of bed. On hearing of Crawford's death, it is reported that Davis said, "it's not proper to say bad things about the dead, only good. Joan is dead. Good!"
#2 Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts
It might be another case of jealousy but they despise each other, claiming the other is a diva on the set and demanding of others talents and time. If you had to guess which one of the actresses is having more of a "diva" attitude, I'm sure you'd say, Julia Roberts, at least we would. But, we're wrong. Julia said how Nicole is impossible to work with, she treats everyone as if they were her servants. She says Kidman demands special treatment and is always whispering to people around her and laughing. So it is not actually illogical that Roberts is right, having in mind that she is married to a cameraman so she had to be friendly on set to meet him. Kidman on the other hand, claims that Roberts is demanding and makes everyone wait for her on set for hours at a time.
#3 Bill Murray and Lucy Liu
Bill Murray was replaced with Bernie Mac in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle because Murray liked to entertain himself on set by provoking Liu and saying that she couldn't act. Bill Murray was always unpleasant to this actress and he couldn't spend a day without asserting how bad her acting is. Being true or not, that is the type of opinion you should keep to yourself, and it's especially bad if you keep saying it all the time. Liu claims the comedian can't act and is racist towards minorities and women.
#4 Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny
Considering how long the X-Files ran, it's surprising to learn that Duchovny and Anderson often "couldn't stand" each other. It's impressive that they managed to work together all those years on the series! After it ended, however, they both had bad things to say about the other in the press and on talk shows. Anderson originally was upset in the pay differences between the two but also claimed that Duchovny was a "manipulative, chauvinistic pig". When FOX rebooted the series in 2016 for a mini-run, the two both stated they were only doing it for the shows fans.
#5 Russell Crowe and George Clooney
Crowe made comments about how actors and performers were being sell-outs by hawking wares in paid commercials and called out Clooney, Robert DeNiro, Jennifer Aniston, and Harrison Ford. The performers all kept silent after the rantings, except for Clooney, who fired back at Crowe saying that he should keep his mouth shut because the only people making a dime off a celebrity name calling contest is the media. Crowe later sent Clooney an apology poem but the two have never spoken since and were offered co-starring roles in a 2016 film and both turned it down.
#6 Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey
In his autobiography The Time of My Life, Swayze revealed that he didn't think much of Dirty Dancing co-star Jennifer Grey, accusing her of "silly moods" and emotional drama. It was rumored that he actually begged her to play the role of Baby in Dirty Dancing, which he said was only because she was right for the part. He confessed that he wished he had gone with second choice, Jamie Lee Curtis. Grey reacted just before Swayze's death stating that "I may be silly but I'm not a diva!"
#7 Kelly Osbourne and Taylor Swift
Seems like Taylor is not a favorite among the celebrities she's had a big fight with Kanye West, and right now is having a Twitter scandal between herself, Kim Kardashian, and Nicki Minaj, and now we see that she didn't have good times with Kelly either. Kelly often tells how Taylor Swift is fake and dates famous people only so the press would talk about her. Taylor claims the women attacking her are jealous and need to focus more on their own lives rather than what she is doing with hers. Kelly told a news outlet that she would never step foot on a stage with Taylor again, but really, who cares?
#8 Christina Aguilera and Kelly Osbourne
Okay, so this is the second time Kelly has made our list so far, which isn't surprising since she seems to take after her mother Sharon. Both ladies have a reputation for being a little too outspoken and opinionated, and often hard to work with. In 2003 Christina allegedly called Kelly bad names and she also told her she was fat. What goes around comes back around, don't you remember that Christina? After Christina gaining much weight, Kelly has finally got her revenge humiliating her in public for being, in her own words, "a fuc@king cow!". That's never the right way, right girls?
#9 Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey
Minaj and Carey joined Idol in 2013 and immediately started a spectacular feud. Minaj called Carey a "bitter, insecure woman." The two egomaniacs never hit it off and let the one-liners fly as the show aired live, to the amusement of the viewers. They kept the bitter jealousy rolling off screen as well as they posted nonstop Tweets about one another until well after the show was over and done. Mariah refers to Minaj only as Satan when asked about her.
#10 Kanye West and Justin Timberlake
These two actually never argued in person, everything happened after Jay-Z made a duet song with Justin Timberlake and Kanye got jealous. Kanye claimed the son was supposed to be performed by himself, Jay-Z, and his wife, Beyonce. However, both Jay-Z and Timberlake deny that. It's not so hard to piss him off, as any of his Twitter followers can testify to. Anyway, Justin didn't want to remain silent and during one of his performances where Kanye was in the audience he changed the lyrics of his song so it would be dedicated to Kanye: Hits so sick, got rappers acting dramatic. Kanye said he would never do another awards show when Timberlake was present, though Justin says he has no reply to the comments. You mad boo?
#11 Snoop Dogg and Iggy Azalea
Now this is something we'd call a burn. Iggy posted a no-makeup picture of herself on internet and Snoop started to make fun of her. But a woman would never let herself lose an argument from a man, so she asked him how he could be so rude after he sent bodyguards when they were at a show together so he would take a picture of himself with her. "So ugly that your stringy black ass needs bodyguards to get a photo taken with me?" She may have burned him, but Snoop has a lot of strings to the music industry in his hands, and he says that he would never work with or watch Azalea again. He tweeted during the feud that "better watch her flabby ass if she want to make cash."
#12 Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe
"It was like kissing Hitler," Tony Curtis said of his Some Like It Hot co-star Monroe. Curtis and Monroe were actually lovers when they began filming Some Like It Hot, but Curtis alleged that by that point, Monroe had become a crazy lady. He gave this memorable description of one makeout scene in the movie: "It was awful. She nearly choked me to death by deliberately sticking her tongue down my throat into my windpipe."
