Celebrity Jerks And Why They Are Horrible People

While it's fun to fantasize about our favorite celebrities and believe they are as wonderful in real life as they are in the movies or on TV, not all are. Sure there are a lot of famous people who donate to charity or spend time supporting the troops or visiting sick children in hospitals, but being famous can take it's toll on even the sweetest celebrity. Some take their frustrations and pent up anger out in horrible ways, and we present to you those who are truly assholes...

#1 William Shatner

The famous Captain Kirk from Star Trek, and pitchman for Priceline.com, Shatner has a very bad reputation in Hollywood. He appears to be the all around 'nice guy' but he is known to shove autograph seekers and once yelled at a fan to "fu@k off!' when he asked for a picture of the star. He is reportedly known for charging his fans $100 for a single autograph. He has always been difficult to work with and many of his Star Trek cast members have come forward to tell how nasty he was on the set.

#2 Nicki Minaj

The rap performer is best known for the being the dancer with a little extra baggage in the rear. But the over-the-top entertainer is known for being quite a diva when it comes to dealing with the public. She recently was a panelist on American Idol and was constantly late and angered contestants, which made her fellow judges a little peeved. She refused to let anyone take a photograph with her, and even after the show, she is known for being rude to fans who ask for autographs or selfies.

#3 Naomi Campbell

This high fashion model is known for her amazing beauty and charm, but don't let that fool you. It seems she is not always very nice, and even assaulted several people who work for her and try to keep her on track. She once was arrested for hitting a housekeeper in the head with a cell phone. She has also been detained for assaulting two police officers who responded to another abuse call at her home.

#4 Jennifer Lopez

They call her the 'Diva'. Aside from being labelled as difficult to work with because of her 'higher than thou' attitude, she never communicates with coworkers or the public, but instead has an assistant relay messages. It's reported that once on a long distance flight a flight attendant asked her what she would like to drink and she turned to her assistant and said, "tell him I'd like a Diet Coke and lime."

#5 Katherine Heigel

Everyone fell in love with her as Izzy on Grey's Anatomy, but when she is off stage she is said to be a total bitch. She's a pretty decent actress but often gets passed over by producers and directors for meatier roles because of her demands and attitude on the set. She has a reputation as being very difficult to work with because of her tantrums and mood swings and is often forced to take roles in silly romcoms to keep working.

#6 Kanye West

No big surprise here. The "singer" believes he is better than everyone and has a superiority complex. So much so that he calls himself 'Yeezus' because he thinks he is the chosen one. Nobody will ever forget the time he snatched the microphone away from Taylor Swift at the MTV Awards to say she shouldn't have won because Beyonce had the best video of all time? Constantly in the headlines for his obnoxious behavior, he is considered one of the worst celebrities ever.

#7 Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson was one of the best-loved and best-paid talents in Hollywood, not to mention one of the town's few real family men. But his bout with alcoholism and his sudden turn from good guy to foul-mouthed asshat has turned many of his fans away. He was stopped for going 80-plus in a 45 MPH zone on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu with an open bottle of tequila in the car; his blood-alcohol level exceeded the legal limit. When he was arrested he began a rant of bigotry and hatred and screamed out "Fu@king Jews!" Later he was accused of breaking the front teeth with a blow to a Russian model he was dating, but even more damaging were audiotapes of his harassment. Hollywood blackballed him for a short time but he has recently begun working again and producing his own projects, though insiders say he has a very severe anger issue.

#8 Russell Crowe

We all know and love Russell Crowe from his amazing acting in movies like A Beautiful Mind and Gladiators. But he has a bad temper and often takes it out on coworkers on the set. While in Manhattan in 2005 the Cinderella Man was arrested for beating a hotel employee with a telephone, landing him with charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. In 2009 he was arrested again for hitting a patron in a bar that he and his entourage decided to grace with their presence.

#9 Michael Jordan

He may be a superstar on the court, but when it comes to dealing with fans, Jordan doesn't handle it very well. He is infamous for making rude remarks to wait staff at restaurants and not leaving any tips after demanding special service. At one time he pushed down an old woman who asked him for an autograph.

#10 Sandra Bullock

She's Americas sweetheart, but many fans don't know that she can be a real difficult person to work with and be around. Many celebs refuse to work with her because of the demands she puts on the director and writers, which holds up production. She has had to resort to producing her own projects, which seems to be working out just fine. However, while filming The Heat, a female fan, and her handicapped Veteran husband approached the starlet for an autograph, and instead of just saying no, she gave them a ten-minute lecture and screamed and ranted about her privacy.

#11 Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin is one of the most well-known actors in the business, starring in such classic films as Glengarry Glen Ross, Beetlejuice, The Hunt For Red October, and The Shadow. He is also known for his television roles on Saturday Night Live and 30Rock. But he also has a dark side that his fans finally got to see when his daughter released a tape of him screaming at her and calling her foul names on a voice message. He is known for having a quick temper, and it seems to boil up whenever a fan asks him for an autograph. Jerk!

#12 Justin Bieber

What more can be said about this punk that hasn't already been documented? He bounces from good guy to bad guy every few days. Promising his fans to become a better person then getting arrested for drunk driving. In 2015 he peed all over fans at a concert then wrote in Anne Franks guestbook that she should have been a 'belieber' which totally pissed everyone else off. He throws temper tantrums at hotels and restaurants that don't give him special treatment, and recently wore a floor length bear fur coat and held a sign that said 'Fu@k You PETA!' on it.

#13 Ariana Grande

While she gets a lot of hype for her voice, this "singer" has a nasty streak. Known for having a demanding attitude and obnoxious attitude, she often calls employees of her touring group names and harasses them. The road crew for her tours have labelled her "Little Diva". She made the news last year when she visited a doughnut shop in California and didn't purchase any donuts but was caught on tape licking every pastry on the counter and replacing them for other patrons to purchase. The employee told her she had contaminated the food and she was very rude about it.
