There she was just taking ol' Fido for a walk when she noticed a woman fainting outside of her Santa Monica home. Lawrence attempted to revive her and contacted paramedics. In the end, the woman survived

#2 Gerard Butler saved a young boy from drowning.

Way back in 1997, the future A-lister was enjoying a picnic with his mother. But when he heard the screams of young boy, he didn't hesitate to get involved. He dragged the boy out of the water and was successful in removing the water from his lungs.

#3 Matthew McConaughey

When a random woman began suffering from a seizure at the Toronto International Film Festival, Matthew McConaughey knew exactly what to do. He ignored the screening of his film Thirteen Conversations About One Thing and began giving the woman mouth to mouth, ultimately saving her life.

#4 Mila Kunis saved a houseworker's life.

When one male worker began choking and coughing up blood, Kunis lept into action, turning his head and sticking a wallet in his mouth so he didn't swallow his tongue. When the paramedics arrived, they told Kunis that she had helped prolong the man's life.

#5 Arnold Schwarzenegger saved a man in Maui.

He played an action star on the big screen, but apparently Schwarzenegger is the REAL deal. While vacationing in Maui he noticed a man struggling to stay afloat a boogie board. Arnie swam close to 200 yards to save the man.

#6 Patrick Dempsey saved a teenager from a car accident.

When a Ford Mustang veered off the road and did a flip and roll into Dempsey's garden, he ran outside with a crowbar to help rescue the trapped teen driver.

#7 Harrison Ford saved two individual people while flying his helicopter.

When two female hikers got stranded atop Table Mountain in Idaho, they thought they were goners. However when a fellow hiker found them and called for help, they were all shocked to be rescued by Harrison Ford and his chopper. One year later, Ford's chopper came in handy again when he located a lost 13-year-old boy.

#8 Kate Winslet saved Richard Branson's mother from a burning building.

While staying on Branson's island, Kate Winslet couldn't help but notice that the home where Branson's 90-year-old mother was sleeping had been struck by lightning and caught fire. Winslet did not hesitate to rush into the building and carried Eve Branson out herself.

#9 Sean Penn is literally always saving lives.

In 2005, he personally rescued various people from the flooded streets of New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. In 2010 he founded the J/P Haitian Relief Organization to help rescue those affected by the Haitian earthquake and THEN in 2012 he flew to Pakistan to hand out blankets, food and other items to the less fortunate. So basically, Sean Penn is a saint.

#10 Tom Cruise has saved five people's lives.

Tommy boy once lifted two children to safety when they were at risk of being trampled at the premier of his film Mission: Impossible.

In 1996, after witnessing a woman get hit by a car, Cruise went with her to the hospital and paid for all of her treatments when he learned that she didn't have insurance.

In 1998 he and his bodyguards rescued a woman from a mugging.

While sailing in Capri, Cruise noticed a fellow boat was on fire and personally aided the passengers.

In 2012 he sent a man to the hospital on his own private plane after he was crushed by a weight on the set of Oblivion.

#11 Simon Cowell saved a woman's life by being mean.

When a female singer auditioned on the UK version of The X Factor, Cowell commented on the strange sound of her voice and urged her to see a doctor. As it turned out, she had a potentially fatal lung infection.

#12 T.I. has saved not one, but two men from jumping to their death.

One of these men was talked out of it by the rapper, while the other was former Creed frontman Scott Stapp. After jumping 40 feet from his hotel balcony, Stapp was found by T.I. who not only saved him, but kept it quiet from the public.

#13 David Lee Roth has worked as a paramedic.

That's right, the Van Halen frontman has potentially saved hundreds of lives working as a paramedic in New York City.

#14 Mark Harmon saved a boy from a flaming car-wreck.

When a car tragically crashed outside of his home, a young boy was left trapped in the flaming vehicle. The NCIS star rushed out with a sledgehammer, broke the window and pulled the boy to safety.
