#1 Bill O'Reilly

This is the kind of teacher who made you just hate going to school every day. He had an opinion about everything and never stopped talking, and when you look back at it, he never really taught you a single thing. Yes, O'Reilly, the right winged TV blabbermouth was actually a school teacher. He taught English and history in the 1970s in Miami, Florida. Yikes!

#2 Gene Simmons

Imagine if you will, sending your child off to school to be taught the things that Kiss lead singer Gene Simmons knows. The long tongued rocker was actually a 6th-grade teacher at Emily Dickinson School in New York City before his career took off in music.

#3 Jon Hamm

He just might have been the teacher who let his students smoke cigarettes in class. Before he was the star of the hit series Mad Man, Hamm taught an acting class to 8th graders in Missouri. That old saying must be true, those who can, do, and those who can't, teach!

#4 James Franco

In the File It Under For Real Category, you wouldn't know it by his roles like playing the Wizard in 'Oz' but James Franco taught a film and acting class for a semester at NYU. He also has lectured at UCLA several times and held mini acting classes at Florida State. Maybe the 'real' teacher was on sabbatical?

#5 Kanye West

Remember that teacher you just hated because they thought everything was either black or white, with nothing else possibly correct? If so, you probably went to a class with Kanye West. While he isn't actually a certified teacher Mr. West taught a class at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, NYU, and the University of Chicago. Hope it wasn't a humanities class.

#6 Sheryl Crow

Before Sheryl's singing and songwriting career took off she taught elementary school in St. Louis before for moving to L.A. She looks like she'd be good with little kids though going by some of her lyrics, it's probably safer that she gave teaching and working with children up.

#7 Sting

Call the police! It's hard to imagine, but Sting actually taught English and coached the soccer team at St Paul's First School in Cramlington for two years before he entered the music business.

#8 Mr. T

I pity the fool who had Mr. T for a teacher. The gold wearing hulk once taught middle school physical education in the mid-1970s before getting a chance to star in 'The A-Team' on television. How scary would it be having Mr. T telling you to run laps?

#9 Art Garfunkel

Just like the bridge over troubled waters, Garfunkle spent late 1971 to early 1972 working as a mathematics teacher teaching high school sophomores geometry at a short-lived Litchfield Private Schoo called Litchfield Academy in Connecticut. Perhaps the lesser portion of duo Simon & Garfunkel should have tried his hand at teaching music.

#10 Andy Griffith

Probably the best teacher anyone could have ever hoped for, Andy Griffith taught music and drama for a few years at Goldsboro High School in Goldsboro just outside North Carolina before hitting it big in acting. Lucky for the world that he decided to share his talents with us all and not just his classroom. Barney Fife was not his teaching assistant, however.

#11 Hugh Jackman

Before Hugh Jackman was Les Miz's Jean Valjean or the Wolverine, he was just Mr. Jackman, a boys gym teacher at England's Uppingham School. Now there's a teacher-student crush waiting to happen.

#12 Stephen King

Probably a little creepy, but he looks like he might have been a pretty good teacher. Notable author, Stephen King was a teacher at Hampden Academy in Maine the early 1970s. He may have gotten the idea for 'Carrie' by watching the students at his school. OMG!

#13 Sylvester Stallone

Yo, Adrian!! Yep, old Sly was a teacher, and you probably know what he taught. While in college Stallone needed to make some extra cash so he taught gym class at a local middle school. Whodathunkit?

#14 Lyndon B. Johnson

Now this former President looks like he was a teacher. Before he got into the world of politics Johnson taught at Pearsall High School in Pearsall, Texas as a 7th-grade speech teacher. Too bad he didn't use that knowledge to give better speeches.
