There are many child stars that we have idolized over the years. Some of them ended up taking paths in their lives that we would never have expected. Whether it be drug charges or stabbings, here is why some of your favorite child stars were arrested.

Macaulay Culkin

This should not come as much of a surprise considering his troubling childhood. Back in 2004, our beloved Kevin McCallister was charged with drug possession. He had 17.3 grams of marijuana, eight Xanax pills, and 16 clonazepam pills on him. Culkin admitted to not having a prescription for the pills.

Lindsay Lohan

This Parent Trap star has had plenty of run-ins with the law. Between 2007 and 2015, Lohan has been arrested for drugs and alcohol, hit-and-runs, theft, and several other things. Even though she has had numerous arrests, she seems to be healthier and happier now.

Amanda Bynes

This What I Like About You star is much different in real life in comparison to her sweet, wholesome character. She has had several DUIs. We later found out that she was diagnosed with severe bipolar disorder. After some rehab, Bynes appears to be doing much better. She even plans to start acting again.

Shia LaBeouf

We all remember Shia from the Disney series Even Stevens. In 2017, he was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness. He has also had a number of public intoxication charges as well as DUIs in the past.

Dana Plato

We know Dana Plato for her role in Diff'rent Strokes. Back in 1991, she went into a video store, took out a pellet gun, and demanded they empty the cash register. The clerk called 911 and reported, "I've just been robbed by the girl who played Kimberly on Diff'rent Strokes." 15 minutes after the robbery, she returned to the scene of her crime and was arrested on the spot. After that incident, she has had numerous drug-related charges and made some appearances in pornographic movies. She died in 1999 after a drug overdose that was ruled a suicide.

Orlando Brown

Orlando had a role on the hit TV show That's So Raven. In 2016, he was arrested for possession of crystal meth and domestic abuse. Brown was arguing with his girlfriend when he pulled into a police station. He hit her while having meth in his possession and was arrested on the spot.

Dustin Diamond

Dustin is known for his role as Screech on Saved By The Bell. He was arrested in 2015 after he stabbed someone in a Wisconsin bar. He ended up getting charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, carrying a concealed weapon, use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct.
