Chrissy Teigen stands in favor of Meghan Markle as she gets backlashed after her opera interview went viral.
If we look closer than both the celebrity women have a lot in common. Both are observed closely by the media and have a large number of fans enemies at the same time. Recently, Meghan gave an interview to Opera Winfrey with her husband Prince Harry which has become one of the most-watched broadcast this season in the US.
Meghan is now facing attacks from the UK media and Chrissy Teigen just defended her by calling out tabloids for potentially putting Meghan's pregnancy at risk.
Meghan Markle and Chrissy Teigen both have experienced miscarriages and went public with their heartbreaking stories.
Meghan even wrote an op-ed on New York Times discussing the unbearable loss:
“Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” she wrote. “In the pain of our loss, my husband and I discovered that in a room of 100 women, 10 to 20 of them will have suffered from a miscarriage. Yet despite the staggering commonality of this pain, the conversation remains taboo, riddled with (unwarranted) shame, and perpetuating a cycle of solitary mourning.”
Chrissy also went public with her story on her official Instagram account when she lost her dear son Jack
In an interview with Meghan and Harry, the former actress revealed how she had been subjected to racist harassment and scrutiny which she believes is fueled by the Royal Family itself.
Fans felt sorry for what they went through because of their connection to the British monarchy.
Chrissy Teigen showed her full support to Meghan tweeting, “this meghan markle sh-t is hitting too close to home for me. these people won’t stop until she miscarries. f–king stop it.”
Meghan might have felt good to have someone who understands her situation
Though the media didn't highlight this tweet, it must have been comforting for Meghan to have Chrissy and other friends back in this time.
That is not the first time Chrissy defended her on Twitter. When Meghan opened up about her miscarriage, a journalist criticized her for which Chrissy called him an "absolute piece of shit."
