As the spotlight returns to the issue of child sexual abuse in Hollywood, another one of its most famous survivors opens up. Corey Feldman jumped into the conversation recently after the topic was brought to the surface once more by actor Elija Wood, who said the business is full of vipers and predators just waiting to take advantage of the young.

#2 Claims He Suffered Abuse

The former child star, now 44, famous from movies such as The Goonies, Stand by Me and The Lost Boys has given a lengthy interview to The Hollywood Reporter about the abuse he suffered and the dangers of internet-era child predators in Hollywood, a place "where adults have more direct and inappropriate connection with children than probably anywhere else in the world."

#3 Says His Friend Corey Haim Was Raped By Hollywood Big Shots

He says he and his friends were ‘passed back and forth' between a group of male abusers. He told reporters that his best friend and sometimes co-star, Corey Haim, was actually raped by a male abuser at the age of eleven. He said that the child star began using drugs as a direct result of his abuse. He said, "The big shots would become our friends and friends with our moms, then take advantage of us. All of us from back then."

#4 Feldman Believes Haims Drug Addiction Is Related To His Abuse

Corey Haim, seen here with his then girlfriend Alyssa Milano died from a drug overdose at the age of 38 in 2002, after a long-running addiction. Feldman declared that his pal Haim was often given alcohol and drugs by his abusers and believes that is the reason he is not alive today. He believes that if not for the endless supply of drugs and alcohol available to Haim, he may never have gone off the deep end.

#5 His Son Is Now 11 And The Idea Of Him Being Molested Is Terrifying

"He had more direct abuse than I did," Feldman said. "With me, there were some molestations and it did come from several hands, so to speak, but with Corey, his was direct rape, whereas mine was not actual rape. And his also occurred when he was 11. My son is 11 now and I can't even begin to fathom the idea of something like that happening to him. It would destroy his whole being," He told reporters. "It's terrifying to think that at that age some pervert would totally ruin his life."

#6 He And Haim Were The Joke On Set As Being 'Passed Around' To Executives In The Industry

He said that 'they would throw these parties where you'd walk in and it would be mostly kids and there would be a handful of adult men. They would also be at the film awards and children's charity functions.' He also added that there were big names involved in the abuse of many children at the time and nobody has come forward. He pointed to an interview that Alison Arngrim from Little House on the Prairie gave that said, "Everybody knew that the two Coreys were just being passed around." He said that it was a joke on the studio lots that he and Haim were being abused and pushed for roles because we had allowed it to happen without speaking out.

#7 He's Not Naming The Culprits But Formerly Ranted About Convicted Child Abuser And Manager Martin Weiss

Feldman previously wrote about Haim spending time with Martin Weiss, a well-known manager of child actors, while they were filming The Lost Boys. Weiss was arrested in 2011 after one of his clients told police he had been sexually abused by the man starting when he was just 11-years-old, the same age Haim was when he was raped. He says that he is not going to call anyone out by name because the California State Law has a statute of limitations and the time has run out. He is aware that some of the bad predators are still in the business and said that if anyone who has had it happen to them recently comes forward he will gladly testify on their behalf. But for now, he is afraid to name the culprits because he could be sued according to California law.

#8 There Is A Shadow Network Of Hollywood Abusers

He is angry over the laws and only recently came to grips with his own past and demons. "I'm not going to fault a victim of sex abuse for not coming forward, as that doesn't always work out for them, and their pain is their own, and the way they deal with it is their own. But goddamn, it seems like a lot of people know something. and nobody is paying for their crimes." He says the abuse the two suffered as young actors is only part of a bigger picture. He believes there are many people involved in the "shadow network" that preyed on the boys when they were young.

#9 The Sacrificial Lamb

One person Feldman is definitely ruling out? Michael Jackson. He said, "he was a friend and our relationship did not end well. We had a falling out, and that was due to the fact that there was definitely a dark side to him. But that dark side in no way connected itself to pedophilia by my estimation." He says that many in the industry believed that Jackson was given as a sacrificial lamb to cover up what was going on within the Hollywood community with children.
