Couple Gets Handcuffed To Each Other For 24 Hours And Things Got Real Very Fast
#1 In the first flush of love, it's perfectly natural to try to spend as much time as you can with that special person.
But an American couple took that to the extreme and decided to test the strength of their feelings for each other by spending 24 hours handcuffed together.
#2 The rules for the 24-hour time span were simple:
1. Handcuffs had to stay on both people for a full 24 hours.
2. They could only be removed under extenuating circumstances, and the reason for why they were removed had to be documented.
3. The hand you pick to be cuffed has to be the one you stick with for the whole 24-hour period.
#3 They undertook the patience-stretching ordeal to see just how solid their marriage is.
#4 The (un)lucky lovers were getting real tired of the routine pretty early on into the challenge.
#5 The experiment really started to push boundaries when the two couldn’t leave each other..
Soon learned that even simple tasks like doing the dishes, going for a meal and food shopping suddenly become a test of flexibility and team work when you are shackled together.
#6 They ran into their first emergency de-cuffing when they realized they couldn’t wiggle out of their clothes while stuck together.
They did have some bonding moments, though.
#7 Peeing was annoying, but they kept the cuffs on...
#8 As tensions rose Ned lost his cool during a joint dish washing session, took the handcuffs off, and walked out.
#9 This was just a LITTLE satisfying for Ariel to watch.
#10 And they were super happy once the entire ordeal was over.
Looks like they didn't get on each other's nerves enough to not enjoy dinner together.Overall, the experiment really tested both Ned and Ariel's patience, but handcuffs or not, nothing's tearing this power couple apart.
