Couple Kicked Off The Plane After Two-Year-Old Refuses To Wear Mask

Family of three kicked out of the United Airlines as two-year-old refused to wear the face mask

The two-year-old daughter of a couple from the US refused to wear the facemask so United Airlines asked them to leave the plane. The airline has a very strict policy where everyone from ages 2 to above have to wear masks. According to United Airlines, the safety of their passengers and the employees is their first priority.

Mother Eliz Orban and her husband were following the Sops, however, they were finding it difficult to convince their little girl to wear the mask

The family was all set to fly from Denver to Newark, they are premier members with United Airlines and have already flown once before with their toddler during the pandemic. 


The video shows the couple wearing the mask, The husband is seen convincing the little girl to put on the mask. He tried to put it on himself but the kid got irritated and emotional. He told a flight attendant he would cover her face throughout the flight but the airline refused. The couple was kicked off the plane as they did not meet the airline's Covid-19 requirements.

The mother recorded the whole incident and shared it on social media

The video soon went viral and the couple was approached to tell their story. 



She told Fox News: "We are premier members with United, so we've flown many times. Even during the pandemic, we've flown with our two-year-old."

In the video, the woman told United Airlines have banned them from flying for life

Orban continued: "We've just flown two months ago because all of our family lives on the East Coast, so this is the only way for them to see their granddaughter, and this time was just extremely different."

"We felt like we got no warning, no working with us, no asking questions, nothing to help in the situation. It was just like, 'Oh, well your 2-year-old is not complying, you guys are off the plane.'"

When the airline was approached, it stated that the family is not banned for life.

This incident has affected the family negatively with already so much going on around the world

Eliz Orban, in an interview with Fox News, said;

"I just have to say the past year has just been a huge PTSD for us and very, very scary with everything going on."

United Airlines' spokesperson told LADbible: "The health and safety of our employees and customers is our highest priority, which is why we have a multi-layered set of policies, including mandating that everyone on board 2 and older wears a mask."

"These procedures are not only backed by guidance from the CDC [The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] and our partners at the Cleveland Clinic, but they're also consistent across every major airline."
