For Americans frustrated by the 2024 election results, a unique opportunity has emerged to sidestep the next four years under Trump’s presidency.

The lead-up to the 2024 US election was marked by intense emotions and heated political debates across the country.

When the dust settled, Donald Trump emerged victorious, securing another term as president over his Democratic challenger Kamala Harris.

Many had confidently expected Harris to win, leaving some in shock and disbelief at her loss.

Several public figures even claimed they would consider leaving the country if Trump secured a second term in office.

In response to this sentiment, a Florida-based cruise company has devised an appealing solution for those looking to distance themselves from the political climate.

The Villa Vie Residences specializes in extended stays aboard its luxury cruises, and its CEO believes this may attract a wave of Democratic supporters.

Company founder and CEO Mikael Petterson discussed the cruises as an ideal escape for those seeking solace in turbulent times.

In an interview with the Associated Press, he said: "If you are looking for an escape, either for two years, three years, four years, or one, there is no better place than on a ship."

"You can wake up everyday to a new backyard and get everything you need taken care of."

"Whether that is food, laundry or getting around the world."

"It is a very reasonable and achievable to live a lifestyle like this."

He elaborated further: "You have the one year escape from reality, the two year midterm selection, you have the three year anywhere but home and you have the four-year skip forward."

Petterson emphasized that this concept had been in development regardless of the election’s outcome, asserting that the four-year trip is not intended to make any political statement.

He remarked: "Regardless of who had won, we had this in the works so it is not a political campaign at all."

"It is just the timing was with the election, and it just happened that Trump won and there are more Democrats that are living in the US now than Republicans."

"We go to about 150 different countries in the circumnavigation, about 425 destinations. So in a four-year period, it might be a little bit more than that."

The cost for this four-year "skip-forward" option reportedly begins at approximately $40,000 per person annually.

Would you consider embarking on such a prolonged journey to step away from Trump-era America?
