Glenn opened the tin upside down and discovered a creature!" he posted on his public Facebook page, along with the video, where he told a poster that it "nearly made me sick".

The beans were made by New Zealand food manufacturer Wattie's, but a spokesperson said that the 'creature' was probably something much less gross and it's currently being investigated .

Paul Hennessy told Stuff : "Previous incidences like this have turned out to be mould."

He said that he accidentally opened the can at the bottom and found the unidentified mass.

Although he says it's a creature, the manufacturers have said it could be mould.
