Was there a break in? An altercation inside the home? If you have a surveillance camera installed in your apartment, you get to see exactly what happened. What Steven Corthorn saw on the footage he reviewed was nothing short of shocking. It led to the arrest of Corthorn's wife, Kendra Beswick. She has since been charged with two counts of battery on a child younger than 14. He posted the video which revealed how his wife beat two of the three children.

This was far from disciplining, as the video reveals this went well over the line into abuse. Indiana State Police Sgt. Jerry Goodin said the following about the footage: "(There is) a big difference in spanking a child and beating a child, and I think that anybody can watch this video and probably can say that the mother probably went too far."
Despite the clear evidence against her, and her arrest in early December, the husband, Corthorn says he prefers not to see his wife imprisoned, but rather would wish her to receive help and counseling to deal with her abusive behavior. However, Corthorn has filed for divorce after the incident.
