For one Los Angeles parent, the worst nightmare possible ended up coming true. It was the summer of 2015 when Tim walked into his 12-year-old daughter's room and soon realized, she was not there.

It was the middle of the night and total panic set in as Tim noticed her bedroom window was open. Both Tim and his son scoured the neighborhood. They did find her, but it was after she had gotten into a truck with a stranger that the girl had met online.

Tim proceeded to yank the man out of the truck and knocked the man to the ground. Tim then snapped a photo of the guys face while pinning the man to the ground until cops came. The guy was then arrested, while booked on charges related to meeting up with a child while having intentions of following up with committing a sex act, as well as sending harmful material to a minor. The man in fact had pretended to be a 15-year-old boy, when in reality he was 27. He was talking dirty to the girl and sending her naked pics of himself.

Since then Tim has cut his daughter off completely from social media usage. He is now putting a harsh warning out to parents everywhere, of how they may believe it could never happen to their child, but in fact it could and may be happening right now. Here's what Tim had to say:

"What I've gained from my interaction with this guy is I don't think she would've ever came home alive," he says.
