#1 Lohan tried to hide the severity of her drug use

The Lohans have all had their issues with substance abuse, but as the most famous member of the family, Lindsay has made the most headlines regarding her addictions.

Actress Lindsay Lohan has had numerous legal troubles over the past eight years, including arrests for drunken driving, reckless driving, and shoplifting. Here are six of her booking mug shots, from top left to bottom right: July 2007, November 2007, July 2010, September 2010, October 2011 and March 2013. Lohan is finally on probation after completing 125 hours of community service.

#2 Lindsay was forced to move in with her mother

Even this celeb failed to escape the millennial curse of being forced to move back to her childhood home when she should be adulting on her own.

A source told Radar Online the actress could no longer afford to live in Los Angeles and was forced to move back into her Long Island home with her mom. Aside from not having enough money for a deposit or rent, the insider claimed Lindsay's credit score prevented her from getting approved for most apartments. "In the past, Lindsay has managed to rope in another person to co-sign on leases… However, she couldn't find anyone willing to do that now as she has burned so many of her friends and associates."

#3 She was charged with two misdemeanors (involving substances).

Lohan poses for a mug shot in March 2013 after accepting 90 days in a locked-in drug rehab facility for misdemeanor charges. Her legal troubles trace back to two drunken-driving arrests in 2007.

#4 Lohan violated her probation in two 2007 drunk driving cases.

#5 Dina borrowed 40K from Lindsay to save her home

After Dina and Michael decided to go their separate ways, it seems Dina's pocketbook took a hit. Choosing to stay in the house her children were living in, she reportedly had trouble coming up with the money to pay her mortgage. According to The Long Island Press (via the New York Daily News), Dina borrowed $40,000 from Lindsay in 2012 to avoid eviction, but the money was only a temporary fix.

#6 The Lohan house is under foreclosure again

According to court records from New York’s Nassau County, JPMorgan Chase Bank sued Dina three years ago for allegedly defaulting on the mortgage payments for the family’s two-story home in Merrick, NY, where Lindsay and her three siblings were raised. The bank filed for foreclosure. Dina purchased the home for $650,000 in 2004.

The lawsuit claimed Dina took out a $1.3 million loan and “failed to comply with the conditions of the mortgage … by failing to pay portions of principal, interest or taxes, assessments, water rates, insurance premiums, escrow and/or other charges.”

It appears that Lindsay’s mom may have worked out a payment arrangement with the bank at the time, because the case went dormant until February 2016, when JPMorgan Chase Bank went back to court, demanding foreclosure and sale of the 4,119-square-foot, Colonial-style house with a pool out back.

#7 Michael Lohan’s DNA Test Proves He Fathered A Love Child 17 Years Ago

Surprise — Lindsay has (another) little sister! Michael’s DNA test results reveal he fathered a love child 17 years ago!

The Lohan family drama got even more complicated when family patriarch Michael Lohan found out his former mistress gave birth to a baby 17 years ago — and he is indeed the father!

Michael’s former lover Kristy Horn accused him of being the father to her now 17-year-old daughter Ashley Horn — a claim that Michael vehemently denied, especially since he was married to Dina Lohan at the time.

So being the private person that he is, Michael decided to clear the air on the daytime talk show The Trisha Goddard Show, where he took the DNA test.

And the results proved he IS the father!

Now, he’s trying to make amends with his biological daughter, who isn’t interested in having a relationship with Michael just yet.

“While I am sorry this took so long, we finally have the answer, we are all okay with it and we will deal with it in the best way!” he told RadarOnline.com

#8 Lindsay's half-sister allegedly spent $25k in plastic surgery to look like Lindsay

This is taking things a little TOO far!!

Lindsay Lohan's half sister, Ashley Horn — who shares Michael Lohan as a father — apparently got $25,000 worth of plastic surgery to look as much like Lindsay as possible! What the what!!This wasn't just one procedure either! She had FIVE of them to capture Lindsay's likeness, including a nose job and refinements!

She went into detail about what she had done, including:

'I've gotten rhinoplasty, a bit of refinement underneath my cheeks and jawline, some fat injected into my chin and some fat injected into my upper cheeks."

She's just 18 years old, and she's making decisions like this?? She continued:

'My goal was to look like Lindsay in her good days when she was around 18, 19 years old.'

She now wants her own Hollywood career, and admits that she thinks she's hotter than La Lohan:

'I'm hotter than Lindsay! I have no problem saying that.

'I'm not Lindsay. I wasn't raised in that family. I don't drink, do drugs or party. I like being a responsible person.'

Okay, we'll be the first admit — this is pretty wacky!

What's even stranger is that she openly admits that her goal is to emulate Lindsay! We feel like that would be something you'd rather leave as a mystery!

#9 Her list of sexual partners was leaked

Lindsay was filming her documentary series Lindsay, which premiered on OWN when the story about her sexcapades broke. Her reaction was heartbreaking: "The fact that that happened was not only humiliating but just mean," she says in the series.

Lindsay later appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, admitting that the list was real but was compiled as part of her rehab process. "That was actually my fifth step in AA at Betty Ford. And someone, when I was moving during the OWN show, must have taken a photo of it. And so that's a really personal thing and it's really unfortunate…"

#10 Lindsay accused her ex-fiance of trying to kill her

A video filmed by a neighbor allegedly shows the couple arguing on a balcony; Lindsay can be heard screaming for help and telling someone to get out of her house. She's also heard saying, "He just strangled me. He almost killed me. Please please, please. He just strangled me."

After the incident made headlines, Lindsay posted a photo on her Instagram that showed a large bruise on her forearm, which is believed to be the proof she was a victim of domestic violence.

In an interview with Russian television Channel One (via Vanity Fair), Lindsay revealed why she and Tarabasov called off their engagement and made some very serious accusations.

"I went to bed, and he broke into my house. He started strangling me. I feared that Egor may splash acid in my face. I jumped out to the balcony and shouted with all my force, 'He's trying to kill me, call the police!'" she said.

#11 Michael Jr. was accused of stealing

Lindsay Lohan and her brother Michael Jr. have been accused by a web developer of stealing the idea for an app.

According to TMZ, "Lindsay and Michael Jr. allegedly struck a deal with a tech entrepreneur named Fima Potik to work on his startup called Spotted Friend.

"The app allows users to see what clothes celebrities have in their closet, and then gives the person a chance to buy the threads. The celebs get a cut of the profits

"LiLo tweeted about Spotted Friend in July 2013, but for some reason, the group parted ways. Last month, the Lohans started raising money for a similar app."

Michael, Lindsay and their new business partner have been hit with a cease and desist letter that threatens swift legal action if they do not halt production of their app.

LiLo's lawyer responded, "Allegations of any impropriety in Lindsay Lohan's business relationship concerning this Web site are inaccurate and clearly designed to capitalize on her worldwide recognition as a fashion icon."

#12 Michael Jr. was arrested for forgery and impersonation

Lindsay Lohan's little brother landed straight in police custody after allegedly parking illegally, with a forged permit, in front of his home.

The department said in a statement Michael had displayed a forged parking placard, which read, "Official Business" and depicted an NYS government seal, on the windshield of his 2015 Audi while it was parked on a street in the Gramercy section of the borough, while no payment was made to an adjacent parking meter. Michael had parked just outside of his apartment building.

Michael's attorney, Mark Heller, who had years ago helped both Lindsay and mom Dina Lohan with their own legal woes, told Page Six the police "just summarily arrested" his client, "put him in handcuffs and put him in a car," without issuing him a parking ticket.

#13 Lindsay may have been involved in Barron Hilton's beating

On Dec. 6 a bloody fight went down at a Miami mansion between Paris Hilton's 24-year-old brother Barron Hilton and a man named Ray LeMoine. TMZ was first to break the story, and Hilton claims that LeMoine was ordered to attack him by none other than Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay insisted she had nothing to do with the assault and had left the party before it even occurred, but video footage showed Barron confronting Lindsay after the beating.

#14 Michael's kids were taken away from him

After Michael's marriage to Dina imploded, he began a relationship with a woman named Kate Major. They wed and had two sons together, Landon and Logan. According to TMZ, after a nasty argument in 2015, police were called to the couple's home and a then-2-year-old Landon and 10-month-old Logan were removed by the Florida's Department of Children and Families and held in state custody until a responsible adult could take care of them.

Grandma Marilyn Lohan got involved, flying from Long Island to Florida to temporarily care for the kids, reported Page Six. Michael blamed his estranged wife's alleged drinking and drug use for the family's foster care situation and even claimed his ex, Dina, "would be more than happy to take care of my kids for me.

Lindsay Lohan tried on several pieces of pricey jewelry before ducking out of a Los Angeles gem shop still wearing a $2,500 necklace she hadn't paid for – but not because she didn't have the money.The star reportedly flashed $3,000 in cash while haggling over a $3,600 ring before she walked out wearing a yellow-diamond necklace.

Lohan allegedly plunked her own necklaces on a countertop before trying on numerous neck baubles and a $3,600 ring.

"Ms. Lohan then proceeds to try on numerous rings and three different necklaces including the missing yellow diamond necklace," the report reads.

The troubled star apparently tried to bargain with the shop owner – offering the $3,000 wad for the ring, but the merchant refused.

Lohan later allegedly replaced her own necklaces while still wearing the $2,500 yellow-diamond necklaces and left the shop – and the entire incident is apparently captured on surveillance tape.

Lindsay was also investigated in 2009 when $410,000 worth of jewelry disappeared from an Elle photo shoot, and in 2012, her friend, Sam Magid, accused her of helping steal $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses from his home. According to ABC News, Lindsay was sued by a college student in 2008 who claimed the actress stole and wore her $12,000 mink coat, and in 2010, she was questioned by police in connection with a stolen $35,000 Rolex. Lindsay was not charged in those cases.
