Reportedly, the original Daredevil series with the same actor ran on Netflix for three critically-acclaimed seasons before Netflix decided to cancel the show, leaving the fans and the industry in shock.
Disney Plus Developing Charlie Cox's New Daredevil Series For Marvel Studios
A new Marvel Studios series of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is returning to the small screen to Disney Plus.
According to Variety, Marvel Studios has hired Matt Corman and Chris Ord to write and produce a daredevil series for the Disney Plus streaming service.
It is believed that Charlie Cox will reprise the role of Matt Murdock (Daredevil). The man really made it to the top fan list with his surprise appearance in the last year's Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Ever since Disney Plus was launched in 2019, there had been rumors going around about the Daredevil series.
The original of these series ran on Netflix for three seasons before it was unexpectedly canceled. Fans and people from the industry were left shocked after the show was cancelled as it was generally regarded as the best project to come out of Netflix’s relationship with Marvel Television.
Is Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin In The Daredevil Disney Plus Series?
The last time Charlie Cox was seen in a Marvel movie, was in the same role as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, acting as the lawyer of Peter Parker.
In fact, around the same time, there was the release of No Way Home, Daredevil in which star Vincent D’Onofrio also reprised his role as Wilson Fisk AKA Kingpin for the Disney Plus series Hawkeye. However’s D’Onofrio future as Kingpin is less certain due to how his Hawkeye storyline concluded.
