Every single person on this planet is born with a set of fingerprints strictly unique to their person, sans those few with adermatoglyphia that is.

Throughout the years there's been many uses of fingerprints, enough so that the scientific study of them dermatoglyphics has even been looking into behavioral aspects from people of each type. Here's what scientists have found over the course of their studies thus far:

If you were born with loop prints you're actually more liable to be a fairly calm and balanced person; loops are also associated with sensitivity and high sociability while still allowing room for some due diligence.

Most loop people are easily predictable simply because of their openness, they tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves. They're generally also picky, opting not to perform any tedious work if they can avoid it. If you've got loops on all of your fingers, you're likely to have a more active imagination than the other types.

Likewise, if you were born with curvy fingerprints you stand a higher chance of being energetic and confident with it. This confidence can sometimes lead to hubris or simple stubbornness, and any decision made is pretty much final.

Due to the concrete thinking of people with curvy prints accepting any type of change can end up being a challenge. These are not soft and cuddly people, more of the type you'd see in a leadership position!

Finally the swirls. Swirly prints are most often associated with natural talent and quick thinking though they're definitely temperamental. While a quick and sharp mind would be a great addition to any leadership role, swirly people tend to be too unpredictable not that they'd even want a position like that in the first place!

That unpredictability does give them a bit of an edge though, because the moment they do set their mind to something it's almost impossible to stop them!
