An elementary school teacher has been taken into custody for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with an 11-year-old student.

Madison Bergmann, an elementary school teacher, was arrested on Wednesday (May 1) under suspicion of having intimate interactions, described as 'making out', with a fifth-grade student who is 11 years old.

Concerns first arose when the boy's parents noticed him speaking on the phone with Bergmann one day after school.

Both the student and Bergmann were at River Crest Elementary School in Hudson, Wisconsin.

They reportedly discovered text messages that had been exchanged over several months between their son and his 24-year-old teacher.

An alleged text from the student said: "Haha bro I just want to make out with u."

The response, purportedly from Bergmann, read: "I do too! Like alllll the time."

Following this, the student’s father alerted the school to these messages.

These notes, as reported by CBS Minnesota, contained messages from Bergmann expressing that she "loves him, wants to kiss him, he turns her on and that she is obsessed with him".
