Ellen DeGeneres' is best known for surprising her guests on the show. Whether it is surprising her guest celebrities or a common man, those surprises are sweet for most of the people but can be bitter for some.
Ellen definitely did not disappoint her friend Jimmy this time too. Jimmy known for hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show has been going through tough times since last year after his son Billy Kimmel was born with a genetic heart disease. Kimmel's show since then has gone from mere late-night talk show host to advocate of children’s healthcare, as well as a spokesperson on other political issues.
#2 Ellen Invited Her Friend Jimmy On Her Show Last Week
In December 2017, Kimmel brought his son on stage to champion for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, or CHIP, as it is commonly known. This past week, Ellen invited Jimmy to her show, where she praised Jimmy for raising his voice against the health system in the country and caring for the children so warmly.
Jimmy responded by thanking Ellen for donating $1 million to the hospital where Jimmy's son is being treated. Ellen told Jimmy that she has one more surprise for him. "That could go either way on this show," Kimmel responded, as the audience laughed. Ellen reassured the man that it is a good surprise for him.

#3 Jimmy Was Stunned By The Suprise
She then announced that the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles had named a room in its heart health wing in honor of Billy. DeGeneres showed Kimmel a video showing the room and a plaque outside that reads, "In Honor of Billy Kimmel." The surprise rendered Jimmy speechless and the TV show host could only be heard saying "Wow" multiple times.
#4 The Surprise Got Jimmy Emotional
Jimmy got emotional and could be seen wiping away his tears before leaning in to kiss Ellen on her cheek. Ellen then pointed out to Jimmy that two of her son's nurses were sitting in the audience, to which Jimmy said, "Hey you should be at work!" and started laughing.
