Talk show host and comedian, Ellen Degeneres got herself caught up in a big fiasco when she jokingly posted pictures of herself to her Facebook account showing her riding on the back of Olympian Usain Bolt. She found herself facing charges from fans that she was racists. To make it worse, the comments she added to the picture read, "This is how I am running errands from now on." She had to take to the spotlight on her show to explain that it was a joke and not to be taken as a slam to African Americans, saying, "I am highly aware of the racism that exists in our country," while adding, "It is the furthest thing from who I am."

But this isn't the first time Ellen has been caught up in scandal that has outraged some fans. Last year she was accused of neglecting her 90-year-old father, Elliott DeGeneres, who lived in a second-story apartment ith his wife Virginia. The retired insurance salesman was captured by paparazzi many times struggling to get up the stairs to his apartment while stopping to catch his breath.
