The Odyssey actor shared his boxing progress online after making the sport a major part of his routine.
Elliot Page is showing fans what happens when a workout stops feeling like a chore and starts becoming part of daily life.
The 39-year-old Juno star has been putting serious time into boxing, and his latest photos made that clear. Page posed topless next to his New York trainer after a session, looking proud of the work he has put in.
In the snap, the Hollywood star wore red shorts and white sneakers while giving the camera a thumbs-up. With his new physique on display, the smile made sense.
Page did not stop with one photo. He also shared two clips with his 5 million Instagram followers, showing himself sparring in the ring and moving through his boxing routine.
Alongside the post, the Inception star gave credit to his coach and wrote: "I've been incredibly fortunate to train with @coachnol."
"He's a brilliant teacher, not just in the way he breaks down complex movements, but also in his strategic understanding of boxing and his thoughtful approach to the psychological side of the sport."
"Training with Nolan has become an essential part of my life. If you're in NYC and looking, I can't recommend him highly enough. Just be warned, you may end up getting as hooked as I am," Page wrote as he wrapped up the post, making it clear that boxing has become more than a casual hobby for him.
The reaction came fast, with fans filling the comments with praise for the actor's transformation. One person wrote: "BRUHHHHH ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS 6 PACK WHAT THE HELL!"
Another focused straight on the results and exclaimed: "Abs on abs on abs!!"
"Went from Juno to Zeus," a third fan joked, turning one of Page's best-known roles into a playful comment about his new look.
Summer's Last Resort star Jerry O'Connell also joined in, writing in the comments: "I gotta unfreeze my gym account. EP, you are RIPPED."
Page has spoken before about finding ways to stay active without forcing himself into a normal gym routine. The actor has said he is 'not really a gym guy', which makes his interest in boxing and virtual workouts feel more personal than performative.
Why the boxing post stood out
The photos caught attention because they showed more than a quick fitness update. Page was not just posing after a workout; he was crediting the coach, the mental side of boxing, and the routine that helped him stay committed.
People reported that Page praised Coach Nolan for both physical training and the psychological side of the sport, while fans responded with excitement over his progress.
That detail fits with the way Page has talked about exercise in the past. The appeal seems to come from movement that keeps his mind engaged, whether that is boxing in a ring or a workout routine that feels like a game.
In an interview with GQ, Page said he had used 'virtual workouts' because they made exercise feel less like a standard gym session and more like something he could get lost in.
Speaking about his Quest VR vest, Page explained: "if I was doing what I do for even just half an hour in my apartment, outside I wouldn't last five minutes. But I think because it's almost like a game, you kind of disappear into it."
That helps explain why boxing appears to have stuck with him. It gives Page structure, skill, movement, and focus instead of a routine that feels like counting minutes on a machine.
Page, formerly known as Ellen Page, came out as transgender in 2020 and began his transition journey soon after.
Three years later, he released his memoir Pageboy. In the book, Page opened up about the shame he had felt around his identity before reaching a more comfortable place in his life and body.
"Shame had been drilled into my bones since I was my tiniest self, and I struggled to rid my body of that old toxic and erosive marrow," he wrote.
