It was recently revealed that Musk has fathered twins along with a top executive at one of his start-ups by the name of Neuralink.

The twins were born in Nov, 2021 and the news came to light when the parents, Musk and Zilis decided to get the paperwork started on a name change so they could get their father’s last name.

The twins would keep the Zilis name as a middle name according to court documents. A judge signed off on the name change this April.
The birth of these children brings the total number of his offspring to nine.
Musk has two children with Grimes, five children with ex-wife and author Justine Wilson and now twins with Zilis.
The twins were reportedly born just one month after he fathered a child with Grimes through a surrogate last year.
He claims that he and Grimes are ‘semi-separated’.

Musk, who seems to want a gold star for everything he does, posted to Twitter, "Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis."
He added, "Contrary to what many think, the richer someone is, the fewer kids they have. I am a rare exception. Most people I know have zero or one kid."

He added, along with a chart, "A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far."

Zilis is rumored to be one of the executives to run Twitter at the time of acquisition.
The 36-year-old is currently Director of Operations at Neuralink which Musk co-founded. She was also named a Director of Artificial Intelligence at Tesla.
She is also a board member at OpenAI which was also co-founded by Musk.
