Ever Wondered Why You Shiver After You Pee?

They say that you should never hold on to your pee as it can deteriorate the health of your bladder… and why not! Emptying out your urinary bladder can give you one of the most relaxing feelings. Some people may hold it only because she feel a chill to get out of their blankets or due to the reason that they have to remove their clothes to pee, which exposes them to the cool air. But have you ever wondered why some people shiver after they clear their bladder?
Doctors have named this phenomena as the ‘post-micturition convulsion syndrome’. Basically it is merely a fancy term for ‘post-pee shivering.’ Here are all the plausible reasons for this phenomena.
#1 It is a phenomena that is mainly experienced by males.
This phenomena is more predominant in males and is not very common in females. Though there are chances that it may happen to them to, but quite rarely.
2 Many people have experienced it but yet don’t know the science behind it.
#3 It may be because the body temperature drops down soon.
Bladder is the core organ of the body from where people release urine. This can be a possibility that the temperature of your core drops down immediately, which is why you shiver.
#4 You have allowed the warm urine to be released and that resulted in dropping of temperature.
The temporary shivering is the response of the body to the lowering of body temperature.
#5 It feels like a knee jerk reaction.
It is an impulsive reaction which can't be controlled, just like we involuntarily close our eyes when we sneeze. This reaction is regulated by the autonomous nervous system in our body.
#6 It may be due to exposure of your private organs.
When you remove your underwear to pee, your expose your body parts which can make you feel cold.
#7 It can result due to the exposure of your warm body to cool air.
This results in precipitation which gives you a chill.
#8 Our body undergoes many different reactions which we are unaware of and this is one of them.
