Expert Breaks Down Two Realistic Paths To WW3 As Putin's General Declares It's Already Underway

Right now, global tensions are reaching a boiling point, and people everywhere are asking the same thing—are we heading toward a third world war? One expert has now outlined two very real paths that could pull the world into a major conflict.

With Russia’s invasion of Ukraine back in 2022 still ongoing and unresolved, and the Middle East becoming more volatile due to escalating clashes between Israel and Iran, the level of concern continues to rise.

Just this past weekend, both countries exchanged strikes, and an Iranian missile attack on Tel Aviv resulted in the tragic deaths of three civilians, adding to the growing fear across the region.

As the situation shows no signs of calming down, especially with the prolonged war between Russia and Ukraine, conversations around the possibility of World War 3 seem to be gaining serious ground.

According to Professor Anthony Glees, a well-known security expert, the conflicts unfolding now may very well act as a blueprint for how things could spiral into a global war in the future.

In a detailed interview with The Mirror, he broke down the two scenarios that could potentially push the world over the edge.

Professor Glees, who teaches at the University of Buckingham in the UK, laid out the first scenario like this: "First, that Iran hits back hard, is supported by its admittedly weakened proxies, Hezbollah, the Houthis and what's left of Hamas, as well as its chums in the region and beyond."

According to him, this kind of retaliation could be more than just regional—it might very well be the spark that leads to something much bigger and more devastating on a global scale.

He then turned to the second possible scenario he believes could be just as dangerous and trigger the outbreak of World War 3.

It’s no secret that the United States holds a huge amount of influence on the global stage. That’s why any announcement, especially from someone like Donald Trump on Truth Social, is closely watched and sometimes feared around the world.

Glees warned that leaders like Vladimir Putin, North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un, and China’s Xi Jinping could see a distracted or politically divided United States as their chance to act boldly.

"We recall that Putin is firing Shahed drones at Ukraine. Now is the time to pursue their own bugbears in Ukraine, South Korea and Taiwan." he explained during the interview.

"Naturally we hope this won't happen. But if it does, I think what Israel has been doing since about 3.00am gives us a blueprint for what could happen to us here in Europe."

Adding to the growing fears, Russian general Apti Alaudinov has issued his own disturbing call for action. He urged President Putin to mobilize troops and remind the world that Russia still holds significant nuclear power.

Posting on Telegram, Alaudinov declared: "We need to declare mobilization."

He went on to say that Russia should be ready to call up as many as one million troops if necessary. He concluded his alarming post with this: "We need to prepare at least half a million people in advance. But realistically one million people. We need to call them up and start preparing them for the fact that the war has already begun, which we already know is happening - World War 3."

"But it has already taken on a new turn and a new momentum."

"And so that no one dares to play with us the way they played with all the other countries, and now with Iran. Believe me, we all need to unite, unite, unite at all levels."
