Accidental racism is something you will see from time to time, this time this is blatantly saying that Asians are better than black people.

This is as racist as you can get. This is a simple commercial for a Chinese laundry detergent, but their attempt to be clever crosses the line. A Chinese woman is doing laundry with a black man covered in paint comes into the room.

He's happy to see her and she's happy to see him, things are about to get hot and heavy when everything goes south. The woman puts a detergent tablet into his mouth and pushes him into the washer. After a little he comes out as a beautiful Chinese man.If no racism was intended then there are a plenty of other ways that would just be as effective to demonstrate the cleaning power of their product. They could have just cut the black guy out completely and hired a Chinese actor and have her dump him in to wash all the paint off before they got to business, but they went through the trouble of hiring the black guy. There is no mistaking the message from this commercial, they make no attempt to hide it. How this got approved by the companies PR is beyond me.
