Actress and singer Angela Lansbury has starred in several productions, but she is best known as the main character in the popular series Murder, She Wrote. Lansbury also lent her voice talents to Disney's Beauty And The Beast as Mrs. Potts. Angela Lansbury was once married to actor Richard Cromwell, but she obviously didn't know that Cromwell was gay when the two tied the knot. The pair was only married for a year, from 1945 to 1946. Years later, Angela revealed that the marriage ended because of Cromwell's sexuality. The two remained good friends until Richard Cromwell passed away in 1960. Just goes to show you that nothing is really new in Hollywoodbut it is much more publicized these days.

Minnelli's mother, Judy Garland, also married a gay man.

De Alba has said that she had no idea Martin was gay until he came out in 2010. In 2013 she told the press that she was still pissed at Martin and refused to work with him.

The View co-host Star Jones had a highly-public divorce from Al Reynolds after their failed 4-year marriage, amidst widespread rumors that he was gay.

Berenson and Perkins had two children together and remained married until Perkins died from AIDS-related causes in 1992. Berenson herself died in the 9/11 attacks aboard Flight 11, which crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
