The online marketplace where the item was listed didn't find the bag of air as something 'very rare' and soon it was removed from the platform. However, before the post was deleted, it had already gone viral on social media and many took to the internet to call out this nonsense.
Fan Tries To Sell 'Billie Eilish's Air' For Over $10,000 After Attending Her Show
One user on e-marketplace platform Carousell has listed a bag of Billie Eilish's air for a whopping $10,000 after attending the singer's concert in Singapore last weekend.
The user, who goes by the name rev1on, is reportedly15,000 Singaporean dollars (10,000 US dollars) for the honor of owning a "rare" bag of Eilish's air.
The seller has listed the item as 'very rare,' further explaining:"I stood at the very front and managed to get her air in the plastic when she scream her lungs out during the concert! For those who missed the concert, u can buy this!! Very rare air!!"
Included with images of the bag of air up for grabs, the seller shared an image of the 'Bad Guy' singer on stage at the gig.
Well, it was not very long before the item was removed from the marketplace, perhaps the platform didn't find the item as rare as the user presented it to be.
In any case, the response to the item has been one of ridicule, with one person tweeting: "I don’t even know if my brain would be able to process the nonsense."
Eilish is currently on her Happier Than Ever tour, which saw her reveal she had not seen the sunlight for "three days" due to her extremely hectic performance schedule.
For the tour, which will go on for half a year, the 'Bored' hitmaker will be visiting 47 cities - before it comes to an end on September 30.
In an interview with the Sunday Times in June, she said: “It’s kind of a crazy thing that a human does, touring. It is so unnatural for us as people to have such high highs and such low lows. It feels like a blur. It’s like you’re living five different lives at once, bonkers but amazing.”
But she added that despite "hating the summertime," she was trying her best to get some natural sunlight every day.
