#1 Kanye West

You know you're being taken seriously when Anna Wintour is sitting in the front row of your fashion show. Kanye's highly anticipated collaboration with Adidas showed at New York Fashion Week in February. Whether you love him or hate him, there's no denying his presence in the fashion industry.

#2 Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous label in 2008, and it has grown into a New York Fashion Week fixture. Her Spice Girls days are long gone, and she is now respected as a fashion designer and has even won awards for her work.

#3 Sarah Jessica Parker

Her character, Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, was known as a fashion icon, and Sarah is no different. Sarah Jessica Parker has a line of shoes and bags called SJP which is available at Nordstrom's. The real question is, did Carrie influence Sarah, or did Sarah influence Carrie? We may never know.

#4 Adam Levine

Did you ever think you would hear the words "Adam Levine" and "Kmart" in the same sentence? Me neither. Adam Levine's collection for Kmart includes both menswear and womenswear, and while it may not be the most fashion-forward celebrity line we've seen, it appears to be doing well.

#5 Jessica Simpson

The Jessica Simpson Collection launched in 2006 and is still going strong. You can find her clothing, footwear and accessories in department stores such as Lord & Taylor and Macy's. Although her line isn't exactly haute couture, she has been very successful with it; probably even more successful than her acting and music career!
