Ellie Parker, from Indiana, and her girlfriend Lucy Stenger were dining at the Japanese steakhouse Asahi on Sunday, celebrating their first Valentine's Day together. They were having a romantic evening until the restaurant's chef came to the table to grill their food for them; it was at this point their night took a turn for the worse.

According to Ellie, the chef asked "where our Valentine's were" she continued "We told him we were each other's Valentine's. It was at the point the chef proceeded to comment that although their relationship was legal, it was "such a waste to not have a man". Queue unimpressed emoji face.
But wait, it gets worse. If that wasn't bad enough, she said he continued to insult their relationship by saying he would come home with them to "heat things up".
Despite the appalling service which quite frankly ruined their romantic evening, the ladies still ended up paying the bill and they even left a tip. Just not the kind of tip you might expect:

The girls decided to tip him with a life lesson: "Don't tell lesbians they need a man on Valentine's day". Ellie posted a picture onto Facebook and has since received over 5000 shares, proving that in a world where Social Media rules all, if you act like a douche, you will be publicly shamed.
The restaurant have since reached out and apologized for the incident. They have also refunded Ellie the money she paid for the meal.
