Just days ago a woman by the name of Tabitha Renea West asked Go Fund Me users to donate $800 to get a tattoo that says "420" removed from her forehead. Her Go Fund Me has so far raised just over $1,000.
Like many, upon first seeing her campaign, we had our doubts if West could be trusted to use the money for what she was saying it was going to go towards. Sure enough, just 4 days into her campaign, it appears West is a fraud. Which is not surprising when you saw her second Facebook account. At the time of our original article, West had 3 Facebook accounts, 2 of which have now been deleted and the third is set to private.

The first hint of this was when 2 separate people offered to pay for the tattoo removal by phone with their credit card. They offered to pay the person removing the tattoo directly. This way West would never get to touch the money and there would be no chance of error. She gladly took the offer, but left the Go Fund Me up for people to donate to. This leads to the question, if the tattoo removal is paid for, why is she still asking for donations?

These messages between West and a Facebook friend are now beginning to float around the web. It is clear West is using her account to fraudulently take money from Go Fund Me users with no intention to use it towards what her campaign states. The following screenshots were sent to us and may not appear in the exact order they need to be in. The message is still clear, her tattoo removal is being paid for and the cash she raised, and is still raising, is going into her pocket.

Another comment that was left on West's Facebook page shows that this is not the first time she has done this. Even more, it appears the last time she used the exact same reason. It is unclear if the first time she used Go Fund Me to raise the money, but a friend of her's on Facebook makes it quite clear that it has happened before.

It is one thing to start a Go Fund Me for stupid shit. If someone wants to donate their money to something stupid, that is their choice and their right. But this is pure out fraud and deceit at this point. Several sources are in the process of talking with Go Fund Me to have West's account removed and the money given refunded. If you have donated to West's campaign, we suggest you contact Go Fund Me for a refund.
